Rb25 gtx3576r gen 2 vs gtx3582r gen 2

I want 550-600hp on my 96 r33 gtst which currently running on stock internal, turbo and aftermarket intercooler, 3"full exhaust, excedy hd clutch, bov, hks boost controller on 98 making 300hp.

Little bit confusion in buying turbo, wat should i go with gtx3576r gen 2 or gtx3582r with wat housing for street purpose and which one spool faster making stututu sound . I'm new to rb world and wat mods exactly i want to achieve that power on 98.

How are you defining those power levels? Engine, Dyno Dynamics roller, Mustang roller, hub dyno?

And naturally the 76R will spool faster. Smaller compressor wheel has less inertia.

There is a whole thread stickied at the top with many many results and dyno sheets for the turbos you ask about. Have a look.

man  honestly if your looking to make 600hp and you don't know the difference between those 2 turbos and haven't already read the 1000 posts on google about single swap setups I would just keep running the car stock.  bigger a/r flows more air but has more lag. don't over think it. pick a turbo make sure you have the fuel, a good ignition system and just send it mate. read lots!!!!!

You want to make 600hp on a stock internal rb25 on 98?

Read carefully, i said it running on stock internal and i had much sense it's not possible on stock internal . Mostly my concern abt choosing a right turbo with not big housing ,i already gone through heaps of thread still struggling can't find anybody using gtx gen2 on rb25 with 600hp. Rest of mods i know very well.

It's not engine swap , i already gone through 100 threads but my concern is if i choose gtx3582r with.82 housing does it lag cause i read gtx3576r gen2 spool more faster and cause no lag at mid range with same housing.

There will be lag with either, it's not the difference between having a laggy set up and a response master.

There is no point in choking a large compressor with a small exhaust housing. The smart approach to wanting good response is to choose a smaller turbo. the smart approach to wanting max power from a given compressor is to choose the smallest exhaust housing that will get you there - which is NOT the smallest housing available, generally.

well put. and even at 450whp is still gunna snap your neck m8, I would personally go with a  gt3076 or something along those lines. with a higher boost around 22psi. will achieve an easy 450whp with what I think would be a much better drivable power band and funner car in the end.

I have exactly all that listed with dyno graph p59 of rb25 dyno thread

Rb25 with 3582 gen ll with .82 635hp at 26psi compared against 3076 .82 gen l..

But thats e85. Good luck on 98

he can also look into water meth injection kits if he wants to run large boost on what ever turbo he decides. that's what I have setup on my car works great and keeps valves clean etc!

I'm sure a dyno up in North America can eek out that 600hp
