we have a guy is S.A who works on the IT Helpdesk.

He has no arms and picks up the phone with his feet, rests it on his shoulder and then types up the ticket

I expect he uses a headset most of the time but it's amazing just the same

the picture above reminded me of him

When im dictator everyone will start on a bike, if you survive 2 years you have earned the right to drive.

I feel the same but a in a truck, everyone should experience it, I swear it will make people more observant, the amount of tards I have to deal with everyday is ridiculous. Edited by gtr judd

Get your L's and I'll give you some driving lessons. I got my HR at 19...7 years ago, if I can't teach you a thing or two no one can lol

Have you driven a truck before?

in NSW, dont need ls to start learning.

so long as you have car licence, and teacher has held truck licence for over 2 years, go for gold.

So I'm putting together a rough plan on what I will need to get my R34 to around a safe 250-280rwkw on a low boost and be a true flex fuel car.

What do you guys think, am I missing any parts or do I have any prices wrong?

I'll be trying to find second hand parts for not so important things like exhaust and intercooler but for the injectors etc I'll be buying brand new this time around.

ECU: Adaptronic = $1100

Turbo: High Flow = $900

Injectors: 1000cc = $650

Coil Pack: Split fires = $450

Fuel Pump: Walbro 400L = $180

Intake Pipe: Metal Pipe = $200

Flex sensor: GM sensor = $300

Intercooler: Return Flow = $500

Suspension: BC BR = $1150

Clutch: KB Clutches = $450

Tune: DVS JEZ = $1700

Rough Total = $7850

Bryce I'm calling you out here because you are going down the same road haha

On the motorsport thread, people have said the BC suspension is cheap, and performs like a cheap one.

Id say they would be fine for the street, but real good stuff is faster on the track.

I guess it depends on what you want to do.

Ps: i went around Wakefield for a couple of laps... so now im a racecar driving expert.

Not sure how your ECU works but you might need IAT sensor and MAP sensor. Unless if you want to tune with MAF which is restricted up to 250kw with Z32 ones.

Spark plugs

Dump pipe (JJR $215)

High flow Cat (100CELL has least resistance, could get the venom ones on ebay $250)

Turbo lines too but not essential

Get a boost gauge. oil temp gauge know whats going on with your temps at all time. But may not be necessary because if the adaptronic is like a vipec it will probably go into RnR or do something to stop it going on.

you'll need a MAC boost control solenoid. Get the ECU to control the boost and never worry about changing it.
Depending on the size injectors you get you may need a new fuel rail and pressure regulator but the stock has been proved to work up to +400kws.

Adaptronic does use a map sensor so I can ditch the AFM for this application.

Exhaust will be a JJR but in going to make sure it matches the gasket. I hear they can have some good/poor quality.

As for the BC BR's they will be fine for the street application and occasional track day that I will probably do.

Already also have a greddy profec 2 boost controller which I'll try use depending on what features this adaptronic have. I still have to work out if DVS feels comfortable about tuning with that or if he recommends something different.

Also go the 100cell cat exactly what you recommended a venom one of eBay a few months back;)

Yeah Ohlins and Bilstein ftw if I had money but good luck buying those. Without stressing out your wallet. BCs are pretty good for a budget and pretty comfy for street . People have driven mine and think it's a lot softer than theirs Huon etc are my witnesses.

I'll possibly use the Scotty porn pipe again and buy one of your stock ones Rob to use on the 33. The pipe needs to be modified a little by Scotty though because it doesn't fit up to factory air box and the hoses run too close to the engine.

Fingers crossed the car might come with some secret goodies but who knows

I can provide.

The PORN pipe Scotty made for me does fitup to stock box with the hose ports slightly different to yours.

I'm sure he can tweak it. Or just get a freshy and sell yours to Chris.

    • Power steering is probably because someone has nuked the HICAS CU and you no longer have the variable power asist doing what it is supposed to. How much boost are you running? You are aware that any more than 10 psi on the stock ECU is just asking for it to go to full R&R (that's Rich & Retard, which is effectively Retarded and Retarded!) which kills all the power. Depending on the exact conditions, it can just be runnign on the fat and stupid end of the maps, then the conditions change, you make a little more boost and the ECU goes into panic.
    • @BuiltNotBought Just as GTSboy said.   If you want driveabilty and more low down torque..keep the stock runners. They are VERY good from a factory. I have them too on my RB25DET NEO and as a GTSboy i have fmic but with stock piping route(i have Blitz intercooler) Iam making around 320 BHP and the car pulls "hard" from like 2,5k all the way to 7k. I have it dyno tuned to mimic N/A power curve and making little less max torque due to the smallbox tranny. But driveability is very great. I had 350Nm below 3k so car feels very quick.   EDIT:  Not my channel but i saw this and i know that is what i want (and i have exactly this)
    • Looking to sort out a couple of issues on my skyline  It recently was rebuilt, however rebuilder long story short did not give two flying effs about the work he did. So moving forward it's running but I have two persistent issues 1) it has a misfire / lag type of issue (was at higher RPMs but I had a dead piggy back ecu removed which improved it) now it's not as bad but still does it at random, I thought it may have been a boost issue I'm running an older turbosmart dual stage controller, turbosmart told me to try running off gate pressure however it still has a lag at random times. It has New MAF, maf plug, coil packs, sparks, CP harness.. injectors tested and cleaned. Factory ECU. 2) Power steering issue. It is tight as anything. Flushed power steering, rebuilt my pump because the bearing was shot. Flushed again still tight (mainly when parking and going slow into my driveway etc)  No kinks in hard lines, replaced the lines I could see had cracks. Still tough to steer.  I was told to shim a coin and place into the solenoid plug? Is there anything else. My steering angle sensor also has a issue. It's a used one I replaced, does it need to be calibrated? I feel like I've tried everything and this car is my voodoo doll.
    • Holy shit... wow!!! I totally missed this
    • One main filter. Each tank has a prefilter to keep rocks and small children out, then the big main filter that also does water separation. Clogged the first one so bad it was like a rev limiter at 3200rpm. Literally just like dropping the throttle off and maintaining rpm!
