  1. The nismo one isn't but the GT is except it's missing is paint.
  2. Don't forget new head studs because the old ones can't handle that kind of boost. Hi comp gaskets and intake and exhaust studs too. And he's right. You could outrun mine on foot below 5 grand.
  3. It can be done. Your gearbox won't like it though. I've got over 300kw on mine.
  4. If you want a winter escape and you like food, beer, music and cars then consider a trip to Tumut NSW 30km from Gundagai for the hard park meet. Prizes and beer is a good way to spend a day so please check it out and if you have any questions let me know. Cheers from Weasel.
  5. You're never going to stop people writing cheques their asses can't cash. How many people have the money to do a track day regularly but still choose to drive like f**kwits on the street. Answer. Lots. You can have more of a lot of things and people will still take the moron option.
  6. In a daily it would look pretty ratty pretty fast I'd say. It's only supposed to cut glare. Not as a hard wearing coating.
  7. I have the same problem. I use the car ramp approach too. Back the rear of the truck onto the ramps to dip the trailer then a small plank that sits under the trailer ramps that the front wheels lift up on before the main ramp to help the nose clear.
  8. Don't you have the 25 year rule over there? That's why you can't have 33's or 34's. That would rule out a stag.
  9. Hmm that's going to be a big issue with the engine in mine. And I haven't had any problems with my splitfires
  10. Anyone else thinking about this? It's about another $300 when you add the cost of coils
  11. The old girl getting a shuffle on.
  12. I like both Metallica and Korns new albums.
  13. Cooma has a car club that does Tarmac Hillclimb's. Wagga has a club that does gymkhana and drift events. Wagga is also building any international standard race track. I race at Cooma and over in Canberra and do track days at Wakefield. There's also a track in Melb. Don't know anything closer to Griffith
  14. G'day mate. I'm over in the Riverina and have a 32 as well. Nice to see another one. Enjoy your time in Aussie land. Also you've got the wrong sticker on your quarter panel Unless you have a manual isolation switch there. It's the plain blue triangle for battery location.
  15. f**k me. I see this the day after I buy a friggin ute.
  16. Usually on the first steps of tightening the head you need to back the studs off and re do them. When using cometic gaskets I don't back them off because you've flattered the metal plates already and unloading them can cause them to leak. Now I'm not a qualified mechanic but it's how I do it and I've never had them leak.
  17. I was going to come but car is set up for races on the 26th and 27th so I can't get away.
  18. If they don't have the cash on them to leave in my hand then they don't drive/ ride anything.
