  1. I got the SRI red ones from Just Jap, been in the car for two years now. I can't compare to standard because my car came with aftermarket arms with destroyed bushes. BUT, the arms have been fine. I have those Hard race ones sitting in the garage, they look better built than the red SRI ones.
  2. On a tangent, I've discovered that Mobil E10 (94RON) gives noticeably better mileage than their 91RON fuel. Food for thought...
  3. Dem brakes. Looks pretty "pretty", getting fancy are we?
  4. Just buy the amp I linked. It'll easily drive your speakers, and you don't have to worry about bridging and complicated wiring.
  5. Driving at night? Have higher wattage bulbs?
  6. You haven't pressed the clutch in my car yet Terry .
  7. Amp needs to be able to supply 100WRMS @ 4Ω at the bare minimum. E.g. http://www.ryda.com.au/Alpine-MRX-F65-1300W-4-CH-Car-Amplifier-p/mrxf65.htm should do fine.
  8. If you can find it, yeah. If not, see how Racing 10 goes.
  9. Nissan are 66.1mm from memory, so you should be fine with anything larger. PCD is 114.3 yes.
  10. Yeah should fit. Standard are 6.5+40, 8" are usually +30-35 in 4x114.3.
  11. Premium 5 (5w60) lol. Sounds like your pressure drop was worse than mine with the Racing 10 in it. BTW, after a track day, where the motor saw 130+°C oil temps on every session (need an oil cooler), never had pressure issues with the Premium 5 .
  12. Damn I actually need this, my one is about to break lol.
  13. Yeah it'll be fine. Dump the Castrol and use the good Penrite or Nulon oil (about $75/5L).
  14. Don't forget an oil cooler! One with a thermostat.
  15. Friends of mine have the 2014 WRX, it feels pretty snappy driving it around, but it doesn't have that 'surge' like the RB's do when revving it out. The best daily I've ever had was my standard R32 GTS-t with a NEO turbo. 9L/100km average (no boost until 3krpm helps with economy in traffic funnily enough), comfortable, fun to drive around (yes, standard exhaust and suspension). Shame my dad wrapped it around a pole . It even had a factory sunroof :'(.
  16. A standard GT-R might be good for daily duties, but one with stiffer suspension, aftermarket bushes/arms, louder exhaust, and 35 series tyres takes it toll on you, specially on crap roads and lots of traffic (e.g. heavy clutch). The saving you get with fuel alone can lead to more mods
  17. I saw a set of Nismo 17x9+20 or so go on JDMST, keep an eye out on there.
  18. Putting helicoils is cheaper and reversible. Do they come with bolts?
  19. In N.S.W., regoing car is bullshit.
  20. http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?64458-NSW-Volk-Rays-TE37-White-17x9-22-or-17x9-5-12 http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?63911-Desmond-Regamaster-17x9-18-in-white Import monster?
  21. Probably around $200, keep an eye out on yahoo auctions japan.
  22. I'm guessing Midnight glow, since Pacific glow is relatively common.
  23. The lack of boost is disturbing... I daily a N16 Pulsar now, but did daily my GT-R for a bit (bad idea). Having a daily and a weekend car does make you appreciate your car a lot more (e.g. realising how low the R32 sits, all that tech came out in 1989). Driving it everyday around Sydney made me start to hate it. Luckily I only drive my car for about 20-30mins a day at most these days. But, you do save heaps on petrol costs.
