  1. Those Davies Craig fan controller probes are junk.. a simple OEM style thermo switch works tits here's a thread I participated in back in the day.. most of the images are missing but you get the idea: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=309986
  2. I can't remember the exact details.. but when I did it back in the days I pulled one off a Lancer and chopped the loom that went with it.. the fitting was the correct size for the Skyline radiator.
  3. just use an OEM style thermo switch that bolts in the bottom of your radiator... you can easily go through the Tridon catalog and select whatever temperature you like.. I've done this before and wired that back to 2x horn relays to 2x 12" thermo fans on my S13 back in the days. Ideally you want one that has some form of hysteresis...
  4. Borg Warner EFR turbo, get a twin scroll internal gated one with a twin scroll manifold.. would be tits especially on a 2.0L cost wise, I don't know if it's such a good idea LOL
  5. ^ lol... I took your word for them and others on this forum and took the plunge, on both my mate's S15 and my car. They worked satisfactorily on his SR20DET ONLY on E85, on 98RON they were a bucket of ass as well. After creating a rudimentary injector flow bench using glass bottles, I can confirm the spray pattern is worse than a super soaker from GO-LO thus the terrible idle and drive bility. I've had it, and not to mention got fked over by a forum member selling me a set of injectors knowing one was dead. I just ordered a set of Siemens DEKA IV 80LB injectors, they have a 26 degree cone spray and have decent latency values, i.e. more injector control... Will update on how they perform - but I know they will be 400% better than these Five-O Motorsport injectors.
  6. lower the compression, run E85 + a Hypergear SS3... that thing will bake tyres all day
  7. ^ ohhhhhh misunderstanding.. you want to know who sold them to me?
  8. Also here's a thread about my experiences with both 1000cc and 1200cc Five-O Motorsport injectors: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2441472
  9. I've put all the details in the for sale thread - have a read, I'm not a prick.
  10. been getting around 180km to 200km per tank of E85 - just had enough of that bullshit economy
  11. Hallo, Selling my 1200cc Five-O Motorsport Injectors from my car - they are currently on my car running E85. Happy to show you them in working form. Now you're wondering why the flying cows I have 5x used, 1x near new & 1x new injector? I bought the original 6x injectors used from a forum member here (not mentioning names) but turns out only 5 were working and 1x was dead - he clearly didn't tell me anything and we've lost contact. Anyhow - shit happens so I ended up ordering 2x brand new injectors (1x to use to complete the set and 1x as a spare). Currently on my car running and probably making somewhere in the 300kW+ region, injector duty doesn't even go past 57% on full noise at 1.5 bar. Happy to take prospective buyer for a ride and demonstrate they are working and point out the idiosyncrasies - Pretty much these are highflow injectors, so kiss your economy goodbye however if you're building something you don't care about economy then it will run fine as you'll always be above 1.8ms pulse width. Will come with: 6x running 1200cc Five-O Motorsport Injectors (5x used 1x near new) 1x brand new spare 1200cc Five-O Motorsport Injector Factory fuel rail Factory fuel pressure regulator Contact: PM or Reply Here Location: Canley Vale NSW (after hours) OR Milsons Point NSW (business hours) Price: $500 for everything mentioned OR $430 minus 1x new injector
  12. I got angry at my shitty homo Five O Motorsport Injectors.. so I just ordered a top feed kit with Siemens DEKA IV 875cc injectors... broke now.
  13. I have a stock BOV $20 + postage
  14. Could have bought a bog stock RB25DET motor with loom, ECU, ancillaries for $1200, slap on a Toshi remap and crank out 200kW at the rear wheels all in stock form. Sorry to be blunt.
  15. yeah but those tyres like comparing a fast Honda Civic to a C63 AMG lol
  16. and once they're old - they're noisy and have zero grip
  17. ^ jesus, that motor is itching for a turbo, E85 and 400kW They're rubbish in NA form, even a mild modded on E85 B18C HonGayDA 1.8L motor makes more power LOL.
  18. No timing is normal please don't fuark around with it if you've got zero idea
  19. That makes no sense The factory narrowband has zero bearing on boost. It doesn't trim fuel when you're on power.
  20. Federal 595 RS-R or Nitto NT01 either are not really semi slick but good for a beginner to learn the track and car
  21. Buy a wideband, forget about spending $100 on another boring half homo narrowband. Might as well not run one. Without reading o2 all your hard work diagnosing is just a waste.
