  1. Disconnect it, it's useless. Pull out your passenger seat and delete that sensor
  2. A high flowed unit from Hyper Gear does that without effort
  3. Driven a stock R33 with a 3582 hanging from the side, with only 2.5k rpm to play with in each gear the novelty wears off. I can imagine a 3.0L with that strapped on the side would be off tits
  4. The fittings don't seal properly and leak. The most ling long I would go are Torques UK fittings with their lines and China cores. The China hoses are ok, remember that these lines are under pressure not vacuum so they can't collapse only explode and leak.
  5. If you look at thr manifold, the angle seems pretty aggressive so it brings the turbo closer to the head. Can't be the turbo, all the exhaust castings are the same. If that's the case then every single turbo Hypergear sells would need different manifolds each time, however every turbo fits as it supposed to low or high mounted. Even look at Cal's SS2, has been mounted in the most unconventional way and fits.
  6. looks like you've got 3x options really: Get Stao to get you another exhaust housing, something a little shorter so it brings the turbo down Modify the manifold (probably worst option) Get a Garett Turbo (probably close to worst option also)
  7. borrow another CAS, unplug TPS and re-time at 20, plug back TPS, report back
  8. Jealous, Nissan has no chance against Yamaha
  9. That's cool, if you ever need to get rid of it I'm down for 100$
  10. I'll come pick it up for $100 this weekend if you're interested. I already have 2x jacks, but this one would be good when I work on my mate's stupid S15
  11. must be different, because his is $300 used and the other one is $300 new
  12. Weird eh? Mine runs exactly the same and it runs perfectly. I didn't even bleed it, just started the car and turned the wheel back and forth at the same time topping up thr reservoir. Happy days, perhaps see if there's a blockage somewhere. I've done the same setup on another car years ago, no dramas there too (although was a poster street car that never saw the track).
  13. Spot on mate, plate came from Doug @ NPC clutch. Scott @ Western Clutch measured it and told me it is only 0.03mm worn. I don't have digital vernier calipers to measure the plate but I'll see if I can borrow a set somewhere, measure it and add 0.03mm to it. Not really rocket science
  14. Did you hook it up on the rack return line? I don't have any issues with bleeding it as such. However mines mounted a little unconventionally because of my front bar and bumper support
  15. HyperGear, probably 1/2 the price

  17. could it be your HICAS and/or that switch on the rack? I know if you pull off the HICAS ECU the steering is bat shit heavy
  18. Oil all over the reservoir dribble down the lines and loss of fluid - only happens on the track. I don't lose all assistance or that, just half the oil dribbles out and makes a mess in the engine bay. Since I've installed my power steering oil cooler (used R33 AT cooler) no more, no dribble shit, no dirty reservoir and my lines looks fresh
  19. I will soon Just need a quiet place to do it, it's freaking loud and shoots flames out of the gate & exhaust LOL Got bored and installed Splitfire Coilpacks, no more silly misfires now. Ideally I want to sell it, but I doubt I will sell it - so I might just keep it until someone gives me the right coin for it. By the way, never thrashed.
  20. Car wreckers just snip one off a car and wire it up to your ecu loom. There's a guide on the Nistune site also
  21. Jack the front of the motor up so the rear points a little down then jiggle the bitch in. Also, did you replace the spigot bush? A damaged or worn (not centred) could be the issue
