Exactly !!!, that is why I haven't put one on yet, as my tuner said, I am better off burning an engine then you the whole car But with what happened at the trackday I need to fit one, my idea is to mount it next to the fuel pump under the back and have the return line run through it then into surge tank and have the factory rear diffuser protect it from flying debris -

I payied 1k for the Weldon and removing it cause it's to loud, would have rathered pay for the Fuelab in the first place, providing it's quiet enough -

Ah yeah, running rich will help it not lean out, mine must be a bit closer to the edge Not a fan of thick radiators on skylines unless it's a cross twin flow, having the inlet/outlet on the same side means the water goes in down and out instead of spreading across the core I still would have had the A/C going and windows up cause getting old and soft lol -

It would only be an issue on a long trip if your getting up it, crusing would be fine, you also use more of it then 98 especially if your getting up it Do you have a wideband ? And fark tracking on 40deg day, it would be like a sauna in side the car -

I'm replacing the Weldon with a Fuelab which will give me some room to put the cool next to the surge tank which will have a thermo fan triggered by the ecu at a set temp and be protected by the rear diffuser -

The benefit gain from E85 also depends on how knock limited your engine is, so if someone is very limited by knock then go to E85 they will gain more then someone that doesn't have any issues using 98 that just like the smell of E85 The other thing I'm discovering ( from recent trackday where Amb was early 20s) with E85 is it doent like getting hot, where I never had any problems with 98, with E85 the engine will lean out and break down when the fuel gets hot and I m now looking into a fuel cooler If you do really long drives and like to get up it or trackdays I would recommend a cooler if using E85 -

What waste gate have you got Pete ? -
Haha, I to thought about putting the Barra motor in a GTR and the adaptor plate wasn't really an issue, the hieght of the 4.0 on the otherhand with the 4WD sump will pose a few issues

Why do you people keep trying to steer this discussion away from what was originally said Two cars with different driveline components ON A DYNO doing a POWER RUN, so trying to accelerate the drive line components which includes the wheels ( in this particular case one has 33"s and the other has 35"s ) and NOT HOLDING THE SPEED STATIC So where does the power loss come from WHEN TRYING TO ACCELARATE when doing a power run on a dyno which is the point Nick was making and has been trying to point out since GTSboys first post, which you guys have already answered in your posts when trying to prove Nick wrong, which he isn't as his point is POWER LOSS FROM DRIVELINE COMPOMENETS ACCELERATING ON A DYNO What GTSboy is saying is right but he is arguing the wrong point

What broke exactly ? Would you happen to have details of car, ie power, capacity etc This troubles me, if I'm forking out this kind of coin on a box I really don't want to hear they are breaking unless it was on some massive monster of a car The ones we are looking at are dog engagement helical cut sequentials with straight cut reverse I have also long suspected sprung centers have no place in high powered car or need to have stronger springs so they don't bind -
Single High Flow Fuel Pumps For E85
XKLABA replied to Gareth87's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It looks to me when E85 gets hot it starts to lean out your engine so I discovered at a recent trackday -
Uh ha, there's the post I was looking for lol, what Fuelab pump have you got, prodigy 42402 ?Are you using the PWM speed input ? How long have you had it running and have you had any issues with it ? I have a Weldon 2025a and as much as its a great pump the noise for a street car is getting to much for me and want to swap it out for something else and am looking at either the 42401 or 42402 prodigy pumps and would like to hear some reviews from someone that has one

That surprises me, I have the Exedy twin in my 32 and the triple in my 34 and find both very very easy to drive, the triple is a bit noisy though Paul, what happened to the email you where sending me about payment for said boxes ? -

I hate the RT615s with a passion, worst tyre ever and even if he Ks have twice the grip of a non K they still won't compair to R888s, so they had better have made a massive improvement, it's funny cause the tyre the RT615 replaced was a good tyre -
Single High Flow Fuel Pumps For E85
XKLABA replied to Gareth87's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The Walbro is intank, not sure how it would go as a external I have a Weldon 2025 and it will pump anything and lots of it but is noisy as all hell I am looking into the Fuelab Prodigy pumps as they are suppose to be a lot quiter then the Weldon and have some good flow rates I've heard the A1000 is suppose to be fairly noisy aswell -

I hope the Ks are better then the normal RT615s cause they are the shittiest tyres I have ever used and I've had some shitters Lol, 3wd is still not as good as 2 working rears -
