  1. Yeah, iirc R34 dumps are stainless, been so long since I took mine off I have been led the believe the R33 GTR dump flows better then the 34, by 2-5ths of F all but still a little better, its the 32 ones you really don't want, all three however have the same or very close to same outlet size
  2. Reversion will cause the symptoms your are describing Its hard to look at a tune map and know anything about it without seeing its effect on the motor Your timing isn't to far out there, maybe a bit advanced at high rpm low load but nothing that is going to cause the issues you are describing Disconnect your BOV from inlet pipe and vent to atmo and see if power lose is still there, that will either confirm or rule out reversion
  3. I must have missed it, what cooler have you got in their now ? I thought you had a GTR cooler but I think I got mixed up with GTR turbo
  4. Sean, what cat have you got in it ? I would think once you turned it off it would reset itself and give you 1 bar again, so my best guess is yours is something mechanical To run wastegate pressure just unplug the boost solenoid, it needs power to open
  5. Both cases, if you turn the car off wait five minutes turn it back on does it go back to 15psi or stay at 10psi ? As for knock sensor it could be as simple as one has vibrated loose
  6. Yeah exhaust on 32 won't "need" a tune That said the biggest gain in a R32 GTR exhaust is the dump pipes, compared to 33 and 34 dumps they a woeful at best You will get more from tuning it though
  7. The one way valve on the Venturi line is from engine to exhaust, what he meant there was the Venturi might create enough suction to close the PCV, never happen no way the Venturi is going to create more vacuum the the engine
  8. What boost level ? You may have GT-SSs 207kw is more what a stock GTR on 15psi with an exhaust should make
  9. One of the surge holes at the bottom of the pump is to big and needs to be blocked off if the fuel level gets lower then the pump I'm going to design a 10ltr surge tank to take twin Walbro E85 pumps to bolt under the boot of the R33/34s, I have a 8ltr one there already feeding the Weldon, just need a few tweaks and the lid arrangement to it The dam Weldon is louder in the car then out side LOL
  10. The one in Tims link looks good Do not get a Weldon ,lol my Weldon is an awesome piece of gear, great flow for low amps and will pretty much pump anything but should come with ear plugs And ear muffs
  11. LOL, no restrictions there What's funny though is if you undo it at the V clamp it will be quieter Nice peice of fabracating work
  12. That's interesting and the difference an external wastegate/screamer makes, have you got a graph with both runs on it ? Be interested to see the difference, would also like to know what would happen if you had to plumb the wastegate back in What fuel are you using ? I have a graph posted in the RB30 thread, its says about 5k is full boost but the RPMs aren't scaled right cause of the big tyres I have on the car, from driving I'd say full boost is around 4500, I haven't checked it yet
  13. Do you have problems with fuel surge under 1/4 tank ? If not you must have a " newer " one, if so you will need to lower it or swap it out
  14. That's more like a sign of the problem, what ever is causing your plugs to carbon up is what needs fixing
  15. That was his full exhaust
  16. I have to disagree with that, an old mate of mine had an exhaust that was 3" dia and 4" in lenght with seperate screamer pipe on his turbo R1
  17. I other problem with having them like that is if you need more turn angle mid corner you have no choice but to let go of steering wheel because you are already tangled
  18. That's why I said " read the corner and set your hands BEFORE entry ", never take your hands off the wheel mid corner, that's just crazy
  19. Your thinking to big picture and in this case that's not how to do it What you have is two differential valves, one is controlled by the intake manifold and the other is controlled by the exhaust pipe and while in theory this should work the practical side of mean both valves shut at the same time The intake one closes as soon as the throttle opens, when the throttle is open the exhaust gas increases to the point there is backpressure which closes the exhaust side one now this is where you need to read carefully, while there is more pressure on the outside of the valves then the inside they remain closed so the crankcase is building pressure from blowby which is lower then the intake pressure and exhaust back pressure it has nowhere to go except out the dip stick tube What you need to find out is what the Venturi is doing at full noise when the exhaust back pressure is at its highest and the motor has full boost level
  20. Lol, Murphy's law Those brakes as a set held up a few full days hauling up my 300kw R34 which weighs a hefty 1661kg + my fat arse, your nice lite 32 will be like retirement for them lol Michael, got a dyno sheet, what's your mod list ?
  21. There is a members only ( at this point anyway ) trackday on the 22nd of September at SMSP south circiut, join the club and come along
  22. Oh yeah, hello How did you go fitting them ? I have since removed the Nismo Brembos and fitted some AP 6 pistons If the car gets way out of shape mid corner your arms are tangled, read the corner and set your hands before entry and prepare for/expect it to go wrong and hope it doesn't I have a bad habit of driving one handed lol, I have a video of me punting me 34 around Wakefield power sliding it out of the last corner and I look like I'm a Sunday drive hmmm What LSD does it have ? I have Whiteline sway bars in my 32 and cusco in the 34, go the adjustable white lines
  23. It is a GTR yeah ? You are turning in a little early and getting on the power a little late, get to know your ATTESA and trust the 4WD to pull you clear of the corner It also looks/sounds like your single pegging, get the LSD looked at And for the love of god DO NOT CROSS your arms
  24. The PCV screws in to the balance tube on the intake manifold so the threaded end is seeing what ever the intake manifold is doing So vacuum created by shutting the throttle bodies opens the valve and when the throttle bodies are open and boost is going into the intake manifold it closes the valve 264s are not stupidly long duration, 280+ is getting stupidly long Who does your tuning and what ECU have you got ?
