  1. what about the AD08s, there was a guy at wakefield last time i went the had the KU36s an his 33 GTR and they looked to hold on really good the nitto invos look cool and come in both 260 and 220 treadware
  2. nice, 11s straight up, did they make you get a license incase i missed it, what tyres where you on, any 60' times
  3. 125mph over a standing 1/4 is how it goes in the taller gears , it has also seen 240kmph+ by the end of EC main straight, ride clutch, it should be a progression not just a step, stepping will break drive line at 7000rpm, the key is to load the drive line then progressively lift foot off clutch pedal and hold on. are yes 33s are very fat, and I don't mean PHAT, lol , even so given 125 with 290rwkw, a genuine 380rwkw I would think should see more then 130, then that's in a 32
  4. I don't use the hand brake to launch so these are without handbrake 5500-6000rpm is minimum to get a good launch with stock turbos, 6500-7000 for -7s is what worked in the 34 so the guy ( sorry I forgot who it was ) that said 7000rpm for -9s is on the money, you just have to ride the clutch like you paid for the full hour and you intend on enjoying every minute drive it like you stole it, service it like you love it
  5. 124mph on GT-SSs ? I have run back to back 125+mph on stock turbos in a full weight car(+ 2 amps )so why would GT-SSs only run 124?
  6. unfortunately this, the butterflies have a wax or teflon( from memory) lining on them to make them seal so by washing them you have removed it so they won't seal any more and to the best of my knowledge there is no easy fix
  7. get them to dial in cam gears for response, I sent you some settings awhile back, that would be a good starting point for alround use with stock cams I've been spending money on these things for over 10 years now, but would much prefer spending money on these then drugs, smokes or alcohol, and when attending events like texi, its something I can do with my son when he is old enough
  8. does this mean you have figured out fixing the rear diff or just going to get the front done and do back later if you still have no love from the -9s you could try getting the rear housings off your stock turbos machined to fit the -9s, that would improve response just kill top end a bit LOL, so true
  9. I brought my 34 from ACT and I'm in NSW, you can drive the car in NSW for 3 months on the other rego then you need to get a blue slip, hand written green slip and register it, RMS consider it as a new rego for an old car ( more then 3 months out of rego ) you don't have to hand in old rego or change ownership in the state it is coming from as rego is not proof of ownership, the receipt is, and RMS don't care about the 14 day change of ownership or stamp duty for a car coming from interstate If car is an import then the import papers help but the blue slip place should be able to get then, mine did
  10. exactly, when you have a pump that can pump 65ltrs of oil per minute at 7000rpm, thats more then a ltr per second, how long do you think it would take to empty the stock sump
  11. the N1 block is a bit stronger/stiffer due to extra ribbing and things, std block has 05U in the casting where the N1 has 24U
  12. did you clean the inside of the throttle bodies? run around the intake with brake clear/ carby cleaner/ start ya bastard and see if the idle changes
  13. what colour, how many Ks and have you got some pics ?
  14. what year model and how many Ks on the clock, where abouts in Sydney is it located ?
  15. the the width is the same, the profile is the same so the sidewalls are the same, but since they are for different rims there is a 2inch/50.8mm diameter difference which inturn give an circumference difference
  16. yes 245 is 245mm of thread width and they are the same width
  17. I came across a place at Smeaton Grange the other day that have a puck load of different batteries, I mention them cause they import Lithium batteries, more CCA and less then 1/3 the weight of a L/A battery and they take 5-10 mins to fully charge from dead depending on size, I am looking at one of these when I finally finish my 34 try battery world for it, and they have some thing called a "float charger" we use it on the bikes and it floats the charge up and down to simulate actual use while they are parked up through the winter
  18. is that how it is written on the tyre, cause that means they are 245mm tread/ 18 and 20% profiles/ and for 40 inch rims ? if not I'll assume it's 245/40/18 and 245/40/20, 245, is tread width/ 18-20 is rim size in inchs/ 40 is profile which is 40% of the tread width which is 245mm so yes the width is the same, the profile is the same so the side walls are the same, just the rim size is different one is for 18 inch rims and the other is for 20 inch rims
  19. sorry for the ignorant question but the GT-RSs have a slot in the comp cover, is that a surge port? and ifso would the GT-RSs comp cover go onto the GTX?
  20. yeah thats what I used last time
  21. I to have this on my 32, it has a great note and not loud at all, mine is 80mm at the cat flange then steps to 85mm straight away, goes through the muffler to the next flange then steps to 90mm and the out through the cannon to a 5" tip, this car made 293rwkw with stock ceramic turbos, I looked for this system to suit the 34 cause I like the one on the 32 so much but couldn't find one so am going a custom copy of it
  22. this, make sure the car is healthy first then when you decide what you want for the car make a plan and try and stick to it, lol
  23. shouldn't you be in bed by now, given it's a school night
  24. starting at 3800 rpm does give a good power curve though
  25. fixed, and yeah that graph can't be scaled right, 20psi at 4800rpm with -9s definitely doesn't sound right
