With the sensor unplugged the air con will only blow cold air at 18 degrees. Every other temp it will blow warm air. The with the sensor unplugged it fails low, meaning its probably reading the temp as -45 degrees or so. Therefore no matter what it wants to warm the car up. 18 is always fully cold but So no. You can't leave it unplugged unless you want to be annoyed with your air con from now on

why does air need to get into the turbo drain if there is always a positive pressure (not much but some) coming from the turbo oil outlet? Gravity feed from rear head drain will be enough to remove the oil out of the hose. Oil feed puts oil pressure on one side of the turbo which should allow some on the outlet. I dont see an issue

Had a bit of a play with the link today, just ran a boost line from the engine bay through the window and into the ECU to get some sort of air measurement so it would run Got the thing to idle fairly nicely after spending 5-10mins on the tune. Might try and get a better base map to work off. Doesnt return to idle to nicely at the moment but should be all good when I have more time to play and the IAT sensor and external 4 bar MAP sensor is in. Just good to be home after work and being away, holidays suck when you go out to work straight after you come back

Not recirculates.... its so it works lol. The BOV is a Atmo SSQV. Without that line it wouldn't stay closed under boost, and wouldn't open as well after closed throttle

I don't believe so. The VNT Project is a background project at the moment I think Stao said because there is alot of work involved. The turbine housing looks to standard (if we are talking about the same photo/turbo)

Back from an Awesome week, I've wanted to go to F1 since about 2002 and I finally got to live that experience. Mercedes v8 supercars sound amazing no matter what they are doing. F1 cars are sensational. Hoping my photos turn out. World champions stand is a winner. Be better sitting at the back with no afternoon sun but. Happy days apart from sunburn. Keen for qualifying. Lotus or red bull will take the race I think

I wouldn't say piece of piss. Especially if you don't have the tools. Although drive line services would do. Mine was a bit of a pain. Pretty tight spots to pull gears and some of it takes a bit to get your head around, but not to bad Also the guy at Cbc was also smart enough to tell me where they sourced the kit for the 25 boxes from (ATS, Auto Transmission Services from memory, Google it) and I got the bearing kit and synchros for 2nd and 4th for cheaper than just the bearing kit from Cbc. Got some other parts from Nissan.

Yeah I dare say it was an issue with pedders. Adjusted one side a bit, went to the other side and did it then forgot to tighten everything on the problem side. If you were driving normally it seems a bit coincidental that it happened just after leaving a pedders store where it had been worked on
