  1. Unscrew the knock sensor and make sure it doesn't seem dodgy screwing in and out and if.not you can probably just take it to pirtek etc and say you want a fitting with that thread and a nipple on the other end? What hose do you want to put on there? PCV? Can't quite remember the hose size but might be 5/16? The thread should be BSP
  2. Just keep in mind if you use a MLS gasket it needs a smooth finish. Really smooth. 50CA from memory on the cometic. If you don't have an MLS ignore this
  3. Issue with a cooler pipe or something? May have been damaged and started leaking air (between Turbo and inlet)
  4. That's a knock sensor. Not sure what it would be doing on the back of the intake manifold Do you have a photo zoomed out a bit more so we can see where exactly it is?
  5. Sorry. Also comes wit EL hand controller
  6. If you have an MLS gasket the block and head need a near perfect flat finish. If you haven't touched the mating.surfaces then it might not seal. If you have a normal gasket you might get away with it but I'd still like to finish the block surface if it was me
  7. That's what I was thinking. Thought about doing something like that but it was alot of effort to get it right (was going to run a spout up to fill)
  8. Yeah I'm working 3, taking 4 off and then having my usual 7. 11 days of sweet holidays
  9. Bump Can get photos on Friday. Will be away after that for a bit over a week but can have it sent while I'm away.
  10. Turbo to intercooler pipe? Thought most non return kits came with one of these or did you mean a return flow kit?
  11. I have 11 days off starting Saturday
  12. Why can't it be Friday
  13. NPC 10" sprung button in my car for near 3 years now I think. Been handling 255rwkw easily. Never had any issues and couldn't be happier. If you have the money go the lightweight flywheel off NPC as well
  14. I have no idea what I'm doing but anyway
  15. Link has been ordered. Ended up getting it from Garage 7 along with a 4 bar map sensor, IAT sensor, expansion harness and boost solenoid for nearly $500 cheaper then what I was quoted from another dealer. cant complain with that
  16. Yeah they just bought it out the other day Next time I have money I'll buy it
  17. I get jokes
  18. I think they said the longest runs were around 20 laps but don't quote me on that. Also street circuits have an affect on heat. Although the problem is isolated in the foot well there would still be a slight increase
  19. That's the plan. Finally heard back from someone about getting one. Just gotta add a 4 bar map sensor and boost solenoid and should be a done deal. Is there any setup for the knock control? I can see you can minister individual cylinders but I'm hoping it uses the stock sensors without to.much stuffing around. Haven't looked at the pin outs for the knock sensors might do that later Vct setup looks easy, boost looks a bit harder to setup but probably just a matter of playing around with it. Hopefully won't be to hard to tune. Doesn't look to bad just alot more setup then the power fc
  20. Most pre-season testing was short distances and probably in a cooler climate (cant remember where they tested and certainly dont remember the temps). They were talking about how crazy hot it was in Adelaide I think in a few races the Nissans might start coming good. Not saying they will be winning races, but think they will improve The Mercedes might take a bit longer being that they were developed later then the others.
  21. I have for Sale an Apexi Power FC for ECR33 Nissan Skyline. The item is brand new, only used in the car for about a month. Selling due to a problem related to the car which I originally thought was a Power FC issue (has been checked out by Apexi Engineers and they gave it the all clear, Confirmed when a second Power FC had the same issue on my car) So I'm selling up to get a Link G4, which will be better suited to future modifications. I'm after $1100 this is a BRAND new Power FC As I have said, and was only fitted to the car for a short amount of time. Save yourself a 3-4 week wait for one from Japan or buying an overpriced one locally. Located In Mackay. Can post at buyers expense PM Me for more info
  22. Washer bottle ideas: This is where I put mine, bit of re-wiring, bit of water tube re-routing and all good. Bracket was pretty straight forward to make as well
  23. Going to use the plug-in Skyline GTR/GTS Link
  24. Not entirely true. The timing at idle will change. You need to disconnect the TPS (from memory) on r33's to put it in base idle and it should sit at the base timing then. As long as your idle isn't going nuts it should be fine. 15 degrees is what it needs to be set to If you have a STD ecu then it takes care of the rest. If not you will need to take it to a tuner to get the timing modified
