  1. Your heading says VH45dett - to my knowledge the VH 45 did not come out with twin turbos so you are going to be looking at an aftermarket ecu and custom tune. Your best bet is to get a wire in Link (or similar) and get a tuner to install and wire it up. I am not sure if you will find this expertise in Newcastle but maybe a local can help you...otherwise its a long trailer trip down the coast. Unless of course you are handy with a soldering iron. You can go from the pinout that comes with the ECU and run wires as necessary. However I doubt it will come with a start-up tune for a VH45DETT.
  2. Have a read in the "suspension brakes and tyres" section below and you will find a few suggestions.
  3. You can increase the boost now for no money - another 2 -3 psi should be fine and will give a noticeable increase in zip. Details attached: 10min boost increase.doc
  4. ? The number's neither here nor there - he has a set up as serious as yours working with Nistune. Although personally I favour an ecu that will also do boost control.
  5. Scroll back a bit ^^ to Brother Davids's set up - reckoned it was ok at 700hp
  6. Borrow a fuel pressure gauge - there may be a blockage or a leak somewhere. You are not getting enough fuel for some reason so check the physical flow.
  7. Don't know offhand - turn the heater on with fan at full blast and the outlet should be cooler
  8. Go to Cockram Nissan ask for Dan in the parts department (he is a member of Skylines Down Under) and see if he can help you. Or you could ask Dale on this forum if he can supply the bushes. He will have the sway bar links (Whiteline not OEM).
  9. I got a set of 18s off a Skyline GT sport or something like that for about $600 with good tyres...e.g. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/alloy-wheels/auction-1042008275.htm
  10. Get injectors cleaned and tested?
  11. I have never heard that rumour but if the restrictor is around 1.5mm it would be a miracle of miniaturisation and what on earth would be the purpose?
  12. For example 800cc injectors implies you have a massive turbo. So what kind of turbo do you have? Have you got an aftermarket ecu? Does your car go? What boost are you running now? Have you got a forged and balanced RB30?
  13. This the guy who made mine - have a look through his gallery: http://www.sincocustoms.co.nz/gallery/Custom%20Fabrication/2
  14. Big screwdriver carefully used is fine.
  15. The odds are that your V spec is not working properly anyway so just disable it and fit your Quaife to the front.
  16. We call it the RB25 big box ( I think its FS5R30A) - they are hard to come by because they are in big demand. You may be better to fix yours.
  17. Send them back. Either it was damaged already or they weren't packaged properly.
  18. Man you take a long time to make a point. 2 videos would be more than enough. Sound is not that important to me but many people like hearing RBs rev between 7 and 10,000 revs.
  19. ^^^what he said - I have heard of other workshops quoting 2K and more to do this job.
  20. Can you not get a 20e loom from a wrecker? Or wherever you got the engine?
  21. You'll have to get some skinny, bald tyres if you plan to drift it!
  22. A number of fabricators make nice 6 into 1 You are just adding complexity and taking up space. Usually at this point I post up a pic of my Sinco masterpiece but I'll refrain...
  23. Give them a ring (Auckland NZ number) 09 813 3552 ...if you are in Australia I think that's 64 9 813 3552
