  1. Nismo from Nengun is little more than the CC you linked. You may be able to get it cheaper elsewhere
  2. ^^^what he said. You may find there is a slight lip - sand it down with emery paper to get rid of it. The other problem can be getting the shoes within the circumference of the drum - tap them left and right to make sure they are centralised in the drum.
  3. Your tyres are too big for your 10 in rims. Stretch some 215s on and instant burnouts (if the tyres stay on that is...)
  4. You should be able to buy a brand new fan for less than $100. Lots of people get a slimline fan when they fit a bigger intercooler. e.g. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Universal-14-12V-reversible-electric-cooling-thermo-fan-and-mounting-kits-/111680657659?hash=item1a00af98fb:g:5FwAAOSwpdpVZRUU
  5. As above he attessa ecu is behind the trim between the LH wheel arch and the back seat. I would not be confident that the torque split controller can safely put you into 2wd. If you read the instructions for putting the R33 (and C34 Stagea) into 2wd I would doubt that a torque controller could do that. R32 is another story.
  6. Ignition lock problem? Did you replace the fuel filter in the tank and in the engine bay?
  7. How much boost are you planning to run?
  8. Prices in NZ for a good clean example R34GTR $50K R33 GTR $35k R32GTR $25k Price doesn't seem to vary much between highly modified and near stock. But there are lots of exceptions - someone is listing an an R34 in an allegedly rare colour (midnight purple) for $80k and people will list their highly specced pride and joy for huge dollars but I don't think they sell.:
  9. Plus for the OP it is NOT plug and play (wrong plug on car for the PFC).
  10. Did you get a booster with the BM57? If you have a spare try changing the booster. Did you drain the old fluid or push it out with the new? As above - bleed some more.
  11. The Stagea uses 12 - 15L/100km round town with a reasonable amount of boost. Would have to really thrash it to get 18L/100 (km per tank is far too vague as I assume you don't drain the tank each time and the amount left will vary).
  12. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Universal-Fit-3-BAR-MAP-Sensor-to-Suit-Motec-Haltech-Adaptronic-Non-OEM-ECUs/191403501738?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140106155344%26meid%3D3a96ae08f58d4cadb341cc31af665755%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D291611489086 Don't know how good this one is - paid around $100 for a GM one myself a few years back.
  13. Have a look in the "for sale" thread and then list in the "wanted to buy" thread.
  14. An RB25 in an S14 is not exactly going to look stock anyway.Read through the Borg Warner thread.
  15. Not necessarily. Many "professionals" hate to admit what they don't know. Post your location up with your name and see if a local SAU member can have a look at it or they may point you to an RB knowledgeable workshop.
  16. They are in Yokohama just down the road: http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.midoriseibi.co.jp%2F
  17. That particular spoiler is not to my taste but the rest of the kit looks good.
  18. If you want stock looking talk to Hypergear for your options.
  19. Looks like a 260 with that body kit. You need some spacers to bring the wheels out a bit. Still got stock ecu? Nistune for you!
  20. Lose the screamer Take some pics!
  21. I buy almost everything from TradeMe (NZ's equivalent to Ebay) as many dependable suppliers use the platform. There is rubbish to avoid as well of course. I buy some stuff from UK Ebay if the price and freight is right. I buy very little from AU Ebay or US Ebay as nearly all the vendors insist on using the most expensive form of freight (and some US vendors won't export!). The exceptions on the US Ebay site are electronics and car parts listed on the US site by Hong Kong suppliers who will send stuff for low or no freight cost.
  22. When the car is on the dyno I think its worth paying the tuner as long as it takes to get the camgears right - makes a huge difference on a 26. I realise this is a completely different turbo set up (GT 3540 on an RB30) but achieved rock solid boost control with a Link, Mac Valve and a Synapse 50mm wastegate:
