  6. Hey everyone, SAU:NSW has been offered a very special opportuniy thanks to the team at MotorActive to head up to the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on Sunday Feb 9. For those of you not familiar with the event, the last 3 years have seen a massive coming of age whereby it is now attracting some of the best GT3 cars and drivers from around the globe. Of particular interest this year is the Nissan Motor Sport GTR Nismo GT3, for those that don't know that car or for those that are curious you can see it in action here The Nissan Motor sport GTR will be competing in Oz for the first time and includes local Rick Kelly in the team. Whilst it is expected to run in the top 10 it will have serious competition from SLS Mercs, 458 Ferrari’s, Lambo’s, Audi R8’s. It will also be the first outing at Bathurst for Tony Quin’s McLaren MP412C GT3 (just confirmed). The list of local and international drivers is also really impressive. As well as many V8 Supercar regulars internationals include: Mika Salo, ex F1 Markus Winkelhock, ex F1 and FIA GT1 World Champion 2012 Partick Long, 3 x American LeMans Series Champion For the full entry list go to http://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/competitor-info/entry-list These cars lap Bathurst quicker than V8 Supercars and access to the pit area is great so you can get up close to the action. For more info go to the Bathurst 12 hour website or facebook page. Facebook Website So now for the special deal for SAU! MotorActive are offering VIP parking directly opposite the main straight together with 2 adult entry tickets for a total of $35.00!!! It’s also great that they are donating the whole $35 to Camp Quality so what a great way to donate to a good cause. To book just go to http://c4c.com.au/2013/bathurst12-hour/ Once you have booked your spot post up here stating that you are going and if possible a small pic of your car that you will be attending in (does not have to be a skyline!) Cruise details are still being worked out but we will be departing from Penrith Panthers at approx 7:45am on Sunday Feb 9th. Check back regularly for updates on post no 2 for cruise details and other special announcments See you there! Dave Shameless plug for the MotorActive team below

  15. Ok so i decided that I need to sell off my old brake setup as I'm going to be keeping the brembos i have on the car if I ever decide to sell it. These are 33 gtst brakes that I had on my car for approx 3 years and have been in storage for another 2 years. They are in great condition with no tears or damage to the dust boots on each caliper. The calipers have been painted in VHT gold (trying to replicate 34 gtr brembo colour) caliper paint this has stood the test of time and with a bit of a cleanup before you install they will look as good as new. I will also include a half empty can of the same paint for any touchups you may wish to do but these dont have any markings on them. Comes as a complete kit, Calipers, discs, lines, rotors (near new RDA slotted rotors for the front and machined standards for the rear) and a complete set of new brake pads front and rear. The Pads are Bendix Ultimate rears and QFM HPX's on the front, and of course all the associated nuts bolts and washers to go with them to make it a bolt in affair Its all boxed up and ready to go but be aware if I courier this in the box that its in its FKN HEAVY like id say 50+kg as its all tightly boxed up. Asking price is $400 and can be delivered locally to Penrith or Liverpool area 2pm - 3pm weekdays, Or I can arrange shipping (will split the boxes front to rear if needed to make shipping easier) Located Penrith, Sydney Want any details send me a PM or pm for phone number. Now for the pics in no real order Machined Rears Rear Calipers Rear no 2 Rear dust boots Fronts Front Rotor Front Rotor wear All boxed up, covered and ready to go
