  1. I had mine regassed, repaired at home and only $80. Shame I didn't get the boot floor ones done at the same time. The door has never been so easy to lift.
  2. PM Halle mate.
  3. ^^ This. If you do go with the 32 callipers, I can make the spacers you will need. A quick search would have saved all these people the time to reply...
  4. Then again Stao, your results maxed the flow of the stock exhaust manifold at 310kw, and now I know there is 430kw in it at least. Each setup will give differing results. The goal with your turbo's is to leave the engine bay looking stock imo, giving away a couple of kw is nothing if it means no defect... Suggesting 4 inch intakes and pod filters is fine if the owner is chasing every kw attainable but if that is the case a highmount manifold 4 inch exhaust and screamer is just as important right?
  5. I have never had an issue with my gates off the turbo Martin, but I do die grind the inside to flow nicely. It's all about the flow at the end of the day, not pressure or size.
  6. 5 years I have been running mine daily on ethanol, you must be a pansy Paul. Yep.
  7. Do you have the graph? What boost wat is running, and what did it climb to?
  8. Seems kinda pointless for such a small turbo imo.
  9. Please don't put a pod on it, the stock airbox is fine for well over that power. Nice result for the boost level anyway. If the box is starting to slip, that is where the power will be lost. (although there was no slip in that graph by the looks of it.) You will definitely need a shift kit soon, or you may be up for an expensive rebuild.
  10. As above, the gate needs good flow. If the gasses have to do a 180 to get out the gate it just won't work well, as you have found. Do you have pictures from the installation?
  11. Not good Ben. At least the cradle is similar to many Nissan's of the era so you should be able to find a replacement easily enough.
  12. My car is running fine... Always puts a smile on my dial. Seems I do know how to work on cars, and how to make them fast... Built, not bought.
  13. I just finished working on a 300zx TT, full twin cooler piping and twin 3 inch exhausts. Anyone that thinks they are hard to work on has never seen under an M35 Stagea, that's for sure. The owner is wanting 450kw with ethanol on a built engine, running twin 2860's. Going by the 350kw run in tune on 98 it will make that no problem.
  14. Shame to see you going Clint after so many years. Hope you enjoy the Jeep as much as the Stagea mate. I could have just sold you my spare gearbox cheap you know... Who was the transmission specialist? Just so no-one else goes there.
  15. 18 degrees being the minimum the display can go, isn't that just open vent from outside? Try 18.5 degrees... If it is indeed working, you will find the newer gasses are crap and perhaps that is the best you can achieve with them. Why the old gas needed to be drained out in Japan is anyones guess.
  16. All regs will make some noise, mainly at idle, especially high flow aftermarket ones. What pump are you using? You could try rubber isolation of the reg, or fitting the stock dampeners back into the fuel system? I use an SX reg, it has been perfect for many years on ethanol.
  17. Perhaps your fuel pump is on the way out? What mods are on it, aftermarket pump?
  18. Just drop them in mate.
  19. It could be any of the above, or a myriad of other causes. She didn't put 91 in the tank or something?
  20. Only a little ghey Simon. New GoPro 3+ is out. Do I expect to see a mad rush to upgrade? Nooo.
  21. No, it could be two mates going out for a beer and good tucker. This is ghey...
  22. Good idea, blame the e85. lol.
  23. If your tuner won't tune a Haltech PS2000/platinum pro, run the other way.
  24. One of the hassles with electronic throttles unfortunately. You can buy a 'Throttle controller', a few companies make them, which can soften the resistor on the pedal (or make it more responsive). I used to use one for the same reason.
  25. Nice launch mate, best I could get with the heat soak was 3 seconds for the 60.
