  1. Race Brakes will do it (just over the Westgate), and supply the kit - for around $150 from memory if you don't wanna do it yourself.
  2. Haven't been pulled over once in 8 months, its magic!
  3. Hi mate. The brake lines are ADR approved, they are not the ones you normally get with the kits. So they are 100% tested and made to meet the Australian laws and included in the price to offer even better value. The race pad is just an uprated spec, and costs $150 extra as per the first post.
  4. I was using 6/4 in a full weight GTR with custom valved Tien's... Problem is that it isn't just spring rates which dictate the ride. As mentioned the damper, rebound and other factors come into play. Generally shit hard shocks will not benefit from going soft on the springs without being adjusted elsewhere to suit.
  5. Yes they would be well suited for you and give great performance. Plenty of guys with GTR's around the country using them, I had them on my own GTR that was street/track setup. I know plenty of others who've done many track days on them in dedicated track cars. As per the first post - 17" wheels for 330mm / 18" wheels for 356mm. They will clear no problems.
  6. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  7. Thread cleaned. Read the rules you guys, next time you all get warnings: http://www.skylinesa...dmin-crackdown/
  8. If you get the biggest possible rear muffler under there, it won't be "too" bad, but make no mistake it will be loud and potentially drone heavily on the FWY 2nd Muffler - If you are external gating then don't bother reading the rest below as you'll be totally fine So the 2nd muffler might pose minor restriction if you are plumbing the gate. By minor i mean it might hurt you 3-5rwkw on a dyno which you'll never notice in a street car, but you will be noticeably quieter (as long as the muffler is again, big as you can get). So if you are in an area where defects/Police are a problem, I'd err on the side of caution with a high-mount etc
  9. Ok so i found mine. It was a Firefox Add-on called "save.it" or something similar. I just removed, reloaded browser and all good. Odd that it only just started occurring though
  10. Christian is onto it, looks like it's not SAU's doing... Will update once it's resolved.
  11. Well last time you posted then 490rwkw result you only ran 136mph... Time to go back to the strip and see if you'll actually get near 140mph, they be the results we wanna see Either way it's not 500rwkw - so have moved the posts to the 400rwkw thread.
  12. Ok its happening to me but ONLY after i leave a page idle for about 10-15 seconds... Weird. I'll get C to have a look
  13. No it wont. It's obvious... They've fallen off after their first use... Sounds like it wasn't torqued up correctly, instructions are quite specific about that when you read them. Mine haven't fallen off in over 2.5 years, Duncan has been running them i think for 6 or 7 years... ssxRicho has done like 20+ track days on his and driven home fine each time and i know a dozen other guys running them, most being track cars. Bad spanner turning will always end badly.
  14. 100% right. I took 2 defects and 1 EPA - even while being totally nice, that's out of being pulled over ~12 times during 2012. Just how it goes and depends on the officer at the time as much as it does your attitude.
  15. It'll be a local issue, you've installed an add-on or something that is causing it. No issues here, and it's not something SAU is employing far as i know (the sponsored word ads etc). Change browser, if the problem goes away then 100% your end
  16. Well don't drive a car that's illegally modified then, or toughen up. Anyway this isn't a chat thread because you disagree with the law.
  17. Never heard of those kits breaking at all, in-fact many SAU users are now using them. WTAC cars using them as well for years, rumour rather than fact.
  18. Off topic chat deleted, users warned. Read the forum rules before posting, it's quite simple.
  19. The spreadsheet calcs broke i believe from the macro side, so nothing to do with the manual entry part as such
  20. ^ 100% agree. Just another case of a company making a product, and people thinking they need it See below, it's spot on as breathing issues don't neccessarily mean you've got a return problem So before you go down that road: Do you have issues currently with the head filling with oil? What oil restrictors were used in the build? Returns enlarged? Is the catch can setup/vent correct? (incorrectly setup will cause all amount of issues) So identify the cause of the blow-by, which could just be an adjustment to your vent setup more than anything else.
  21. Locked. Use the proper section, and follow that sections rules. It's really not that hard, your other 8 threads have been removed.
  22. Ye but not the entire rear bar, and not in 38,000kms
  23. Oh and Terry - thread is locked and posts not removed because I've seen the photo's of the boxes... Now to me 33apx appears to be telling a very true story here. However this is not a SAU issue as such, and will be dealt with the law in due course - however any buyer should note there is an investigation going on into the wheels.
  24. Police are not feared here like in many other countries - So of course they get no respect and that's basically across the entire board of anyone that is living/breathing and likes cars as most of those people have been treated poorly. Nothing to do with race or respecting elders - it's just not fearing the Police at all and thats where the attitude comes in/from
  25. Transdirect is who I send all my stuff with
