  1. update with prices for all items or this will be locked
  2. Rear bar replace/repair Rear bar reo (maybe) Dent remove & fill rear 1/4 where all the damage is (looks like it goes further that the pic shows) Tail light surround/mount (maybe) Paint/Blend down the door/boot/rear bar/wing/tail light surround/1/4 panel People seem to think bodywork costs nothing but you run a shop @ $80/hr labour you'll easily see $600 (7.5hrs and that's disassemble, repair, prep, paint, assemble etc) before you even buy any parts or add in consumables etc $1800 sounds reasonable for all of the above really. I'd be expecting over 2k as a starting point.
  3. Good thing it was a Toyota then. Og and it's in the guidelines, that have remained largely unchanged for 10 years: General Guidelines All information and data on this site remains the property of its original poster and of www.skylinesaustralia.com Don't want it known, don't post it.
  4. Good ole Barbs Good ole banned Barbs The cycle continues.
  5. Colour of socks s a defect... Nice and pointless, thought proper discussion could/would occur, guess I was wrong on the sensible nature
  6. We can have a reasonable discussion on the topic. It's not very hard for most people that can hold a level headed conversation. If you can't - feel free to remove yourself from posting in the discussion thread.
  7. Point? Pretty clear what the point is. Plus wasteland is already just a off topic dribble thread (as is customary).
  8. Given the current media surrounding it (and the news stations trolling SAU at the moment looking for anything to add to their news reports) First post that goes south here, thread locked and user sent on a long holiday.
  9. All I'll say is - do your research. Enough info just on this forum alone to make a decision about that type of thing...
  10. Other than HKS crank users (and even then, rare to find someone that would've gone direct) - So not going to find much in the RB/SAU world given they only make the Step 3 crank for the HKS kit. There was one guy from here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/177171-show-me-your-racing-machines/page__st__2100 Friend of a friend type thing, although he is still active on the forum. And Google found this (2nd result) http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/142857-rb26-crank.html I'm sure if you spend more time on Google you'll find more information.
  11. Nope. To do a discovery dive you don't need to do anything - It's basically an introduction dive and you are limited to 12m from memory (it might be 10). A Dive Master will accompany you usually in a group of 3, if there are more then there will be extra instructors. They will manage the depth, length of dive and various other things for you. Basically you will do a familiarisation in a pool or on-shore before going out. How the gear works, signals that you need to know underwater and how to recover in the event of an issue/accident and so on. All basic safety stuff and it takes about 30-45mins usually if you are competent. Sometimes it might take a little longer if you aren't getting a feel for it easily which happens more often than people think. I've never gotten around to doing my proper qualifications, although I should, and I've done maybe 10 discovery dives in the past 5 years. Thailand is good as you don't need to generally go deeper than 10-12m to see heaps of shit anyway and I'm pretty good @ diving and have good buoyancy control via my breathing which is probably the hardest thing to get right - but they will explain all that to ya during familiarisation. It would be advisable to take a Diving Medical before you go - to ensure you are 100% fit to dive as you might have some underlying inner ear issue that at depth, can cause you pretty major issues. There aren't a lot of Doc's that do them, so get onto that tomorrow.
  12. As a you are limited to 10-12m anyway as a Discovery Dive under PADI etc - so it's not cold at all, plus you are swimming around and it's rather hard work depending on level of fitness and how calm you are, as some people freak out a bit for some reason and will suck the ass outta their tank in 15-20mins @ 10m Tshirt/boardshorts are fine, I usually don't even need a t-shirt, just a singlet so you dont get too much rubbing of the BCD.

  14. Z32 = instant failure. The EPA aren't stupid. They also will then realise the ECU isn't stock so go looking even harder is usually the case.
  15. You'd be surprised who Import Monster bring parts in for out there in the 2nd hand parts world Save money, go to the source
  16. It's sensitive to tyre diameter. So anything that can have an effect (tyre pressure, excessive wear etc), will trip it out a bit
  17. 4 pages long, you were told what to do on page 1 Forget about the wrap - get a decent mid muffler, that's about it really. I don't see what else there is to be confused about.
  18. We don't delete threads unless there is a very valid reason for it. Usually people are trying to hide things when requesting it (particularly with For Sale, or when trying to then sell a car). Thanks.
  19. Of course they know. You wouldn't go to such lengths to try and conceal what you are upto if you didn't know people were well onto you
  20. It's a few hours. But costs have gone up over what they were 6 months ago - thank Julia for that and move on. $40 is neither here/nor there IMO.
  21. wrap up: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/415248-import-monster-dec-deca-wrap-up/
  22. Thread for everything here Great day yesterday from my point of view. Was great to get back into the seat and drive a GTR again, so heaps of thanks to Mick & Rick for lending the use of the R34 GTR for the day. Really do love the flying finishes and Mega Mini Wang Epic thanks to all Volunteers/Officials standing there in 35+ degrees. Having done it before, i know it's pretty harsh, so big sombrero's of to you all once again!
  23. You need it as far as you can basically - so if you can make it further way, do it and problem solved. Also putting the stock BOV's back on for recirc also greatly helps this
