  1. sure looks like driver's side kick panel from that bracket.
  2. I have nfi either.....but if you can find where the unit is, I can pull mine and and you can have it
  3. ahh that would be nice if a CAMS license could pass for a road license....but no chance....even for tarmac rallies we have to hold a road license for the open road stages and cams/aasa license for the closed road stages
  4. great! (I think ) there are 2 types of traders and only 1 type had the restriction lifted. It should be fine now
  5. you are lucky to be alive. never get under a car only supported by a jack
  6. Hey the thread title says "for motorsport". My comment stands, turbos for motorsport. Unless improperly sized a turbo will be very effective For OEM use either tiny turbos or a supercharger are the way to go for sure. no-one likes a factory car with lag. Aftermarket use is totally different again and depends on your goals.
  7. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CROCK. You might have a anti-competitive monopoly agreement to sell to certain events, but that overpriced stuff is far from the only race tested or proven e85.
  8. I did exactly that, through import monster. They were helpful by email prior, and delivery was outragously quick considering it came from an auction in jp. The particular item I needed was super rare, and import monster helped make it happen
  9. good stuff....they can keep the plates

    R35 Gt-r

that is about the going price for a race only import, early model car
  11. no, they measure bore, stroke, head height, deck height, combustion chamber cc, cam duration and weight of roundy roundy bits before assembly, then watch assembly, then seal sump to block with 2 seals, and cam covers to head with 2 seals each.
  12. yes exactly...I have to keep within 2% of stock weight because of rules. But the point is, yes the Nitto stuff is well engineered/ better than many parts.....but are the other ones good enough for most uses already?
  13. motorsport? the only race cars that run superchargers are drag cars. In everything else the higher efficiency of the turbo wins hands down. And lag should not be an issue in any modern race car....just pick a turbo that is on boost for the required rev range
  14. yeah sorry, bit late now, but 5 year old semis will not be any good, even if they have been stored well over that time. And BTW p zero corsa are in the lower performing, higher price area where you probably don't want to be buying unless you have to (eg available sizes)
  15. hey I'd know...I've been there once or twice
  16. absolutely right. I'd treat nitto as a well priced high end option (ie for 5% of people) rather than a mass option. when looking into the race regs for production cars, nitto were the only forged rods and pistons that came close to stock weight....all other brands were 15-25% lighter than standard. Great for me because I have to run stock weight, but its just overhead and overkill for 95% of people. How many 1000hp engines are there in Australia?
  17. yeah hyraulics were fine. This was a brand new clutch to replace the old one which used to slip if I launched over 6000 (as it did at PI that day). Not exactly what I was expecting. BTW I agree Marlin that wing would be effective. It is at the perfect hight to push around a car with an empty engine bay
  18. ahh I've got the same challenge with my seat. the bride rails are about as low as you can get, but the cross in the cage on the roof will impact helmet room. I had to stick with only 1 diagonal on the roof for that reason
  19. got my epson ej1 working with the nismo dash, and put in the new ricier EL hand controller for the PFC. my volvo is rice-ville!
  20. sorry mate, no idea on life of the clutches at 50/50 split, although I could guess it may be better for them because they may not be slipping.
  21. you are better just to use the standard GTR pump and accumulator. you just need a pulse width modulator output from whatever control unit you want to use. plenty of skyline race cars have tested various split levels, and the quickest has almost always been 50/50 fixed - however due to the much small front diff and driveshafts this most often ends with broken front bits. of course 50/50 may not be the best for your car, but it is about right for the skyline chasis.
  22. no, the real frustration was Neil banning me from doing the enduro with no clutch
  23. It's RWD right? no 4wd sump adapter? I can only guess it's not caused by blowby if compression is good and there is plenty of breathing. Possibly only happens when the motor is running because when it stops the oil drains back to the sump below the leak? Pull the sump off and make sure both surfaces are flat, and well sealed with gasket goop.
