I've got a Race Technology DASH2 from the UK. Nothing too fancy and I haven't actually installed it yet, but talks to my autronic and came at under $900AUD shipped. I'll be making my own comms lead though, they wanted 150 quid for that, bullshit.

Leroy Peterson replied to DJBarnstar's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
If your repairer is going through Nissan and Nissan needs a VIN number... Find a new new Nissan to go to lol -

not a bad idea actually... Apoc, Switch, Oracle, Trinity, Cypher, Dozer. Very cyberpunk. Much anarchy. Such rebellious. So some amateur car photographer posted a photo of the gloria and put it on instagram 6 months ago, mate tagged me in it, nek minnit she inviting me to a "secret cruise" in 2 weeks in Craigieburn. I cant see the facebook event to suss out who is going, but is this how kids do car meets these days? invite only. I mean, I am VIP, but driving through northern suburbs with P platers is not my idea of a Sunday arvo well spent. Edit: think ill buy this and put it on my fridge https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GARY-OLDMAN-DRACULA-BUST-LIFE-SIZE-REPLICA-PROP-GLASS-EYES-FRANCIS-FORD-COPPOLA/263367932915?hash=item3d51f3bbf3:g:XmAAAOSwWHBaHY20

not much. 0.6 Ethereum, 150 Ripple, 30 Vertcoins. Traded out of bitcoin. gonna wait a bit. Gonna buy into ethereum more soon, then head into Substratum, Neo and Golem. ambitious ideas, but meh. who knows.

All good. I bought what I needed for $11.Still got a gremlin where with one of the rear parkers plugged in, it prevents the brake light on the other tail light from working... I've got a homemade CAD wiring diagram from online, but doesn't really help narrow things down. /moneylinesaustralia My $400USD venture into various crypto is now worth $570USD in under a month. Take that bank interest rates! It's a bit confusing where values can be estimated/defined to USD, or altcoins against Bitcoin or Ethereum. So with bitcoin rising so fast, it looks like the altcoins are dropping, but against the USD they're increasing too.

Put me down, I'll send money tonight.

Actually they're not. I could actually purchase the globes from Bunnings (if they sold 12V globes). I'm sure BA15 bayonet sizes are a British standard anyway... What is annoying though, is that the brake lights are actually 12V 5W from factory, which is a joke, explains why I could hardly see them. But if I install 20W ones like the indicator, I'll be scared they melt the wiring if illuminated for too long haha oh well, won't be my problem (hopefully) PS Martin buy this car.

Finally back home for good. Can get stuck into the cars. So apparently the instrument panel lights on the triumph are purposely fused with the tail-lights as a warning to the driver to check the tail lights... but its not usually the fuse thats the problem, its the contact to the fuse. Need to get my dremel out tonight and also purchase a bunch of new globes. Fingers crossed theyre not some weird shitty sizes.

Off season engine maintenance or swap?
Leroy Peterson replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
It's a CA in a S13. Drive it till it literally won't crank over anymore. Fix everything else with race tape and cable ties. Only then go down your SR route. Anyone who had a car off the road for over 12 months will tell you seat time is more rewarding/fun than building a car with a dream parts list.- 37 replies

People getting taxed on profits? No way!

Bitcoin smashes through $10kUSD and holding.

Constant high rpm and no forced fan for cooling make the track a pretty different scenario from dyno. Hole you get to the bottom of it.
-
I've had a similar experience, except I cooked the bottom end bearings on the 2nd track day. And it had done run in kms plus a light track day on run in tune. My oil pressure and temp gauges didn't pick up any issues, but they weren't monitoring in the spots with the problem.... Anyway, I learnt that building a motor doesn't always fix the problem that caused the motor to die in the first place. In my case it was the external oil filter/cooler setup, which remained unchanged between motor builds. What type headgasket? Thickness? What boost? Aftermarket headstuds? Aftermarket radiator?

Fatz r33 gtr stance build
Leroy Peterson replied to fatz's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
This thread needs more speedhunters buzzwords. How much attack are you aiming for? Will you be getting sponsorship from Rotiform and air ride suspension? This is a completely Street legal, daily driven, function + form build, yeah? I love this build. Just filled with style and perfection. Very on-point. -
Q60 ... just purchased
Leroy Peterson replied to wizlb's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Looks great, I love the look and size of them. Bits it shares in common with R35 and the packaging puts me off a fair bit. Sounds like a complicated beast. Certainly wouldn't want to work on it myself. -
Nice. Get on that cannabis train

You want grip? Traction control...

hmmm thats pretty bizarre. especially if you're replaced the unit. I would have thought maybe lose connections on the rear of the unit. The ones I've worked on were all headunits for the cars with 6 stack CD player. The other buttons just below the top screen, do they work all the time? the ones for changing map settings and directional stick.

Leroy Peterson replied to T04GTR's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Faaaark what a beast -
Nah its like the middle aged women. They indicate right, which I guess is to show they're entering the intersection, then indicate left before they exit the intersection. But they're f**king going straight so the person opposite them doesn't see the left indicator. It's retarded.

In Orange, people indicate to go straight at roundabouts. Makes so much sense.
