i got a question. if we change the airbox cover with a different one, which basically has a bigger hole or is bling (like CF) does that constitute 1 intake mod.

I would also like to know as well as Gazee.......would you be able to pass with a hiflow.....all standard car but just a hiflow turbo?

A hi-flow looks the same from the outside, so yes.

There is absolutely no way of knowing.

would they pick up if the AFR's have changed when you go for epa test if you have a highflow turbo?

if all the other stuff is stock, then there is such a minimal difference it wont matter

Just got epa'd for my exhaust being too loud.. now my muffler comes fitted with a silencer is it legal to just put the silencer spot weld it and go get tested?? This is onlya first off test conducted by my local exhaust joint.

LOl just stuck my head under the car all I have is an aftermarket rear muffler how the hell is that so loud lol..so all i need is a rear muffler lol

does changing the intake pipe on a rb25t r33 to ss or silicone (ie the gb bass junky is running) count as an intake mod? can i change the pipe, run stock air box with hi-flow and chuck on a fmic?

Yeah the testing station is around the back of La Trobe.

Basti, you are still modifying the intake though. They will pick a SS pipe from a mile away, even if you sprayed it matte black.
