:) sadly just now 11PMish i saw a greyish R32 that went through a mental fence and into a house.... It was on Calder park drive (near the Taylors road bit) on a straight section of road.

As i drove past it was getting towed out.... but i still cant believe it as it was on a straight road not near any corners the fence was demolished and the house looked messed up sad to see.

on a side note spotted a white r33 GTR near water gardens it was dark couldn't tell the plates

Saw a white 34 sedan, GTT4DR on Laser Drv in Rowville today with SAU stickers

Also a black Stagea wagon just around the corner from Laser Drv on Henderson Rd, also had SAU stickers.

I think that would be Juliette (llama_au)

'twas me, getting my wheel alignment checked as I hadn't done it in the year since I got the car complianced. What were you driving?

Was following a white R34 4-door down Dynon Rd towards CBD at around 1:30 pm, when a nice yellow R34 GT passed us coming the other way.

spotted a truck carrying steel pipes broken down across the level crossing just near chelsea stn. frankston line will be out for a while

What a place to have your brakes jam.

Spotted:

- yYow 34 in traffic this morning on Princess Hwy around 9:15ish. Turned right onto Chapel. Looked clean as. Debadged and small exaust made me thing GT!

- White 33 on Stkilda Rd around 9:30 on the left lane heading towards the city. Real nice. It looked in good nick!

- Grey 4 Door R34 with GTR stickers on the back! YEAH, I was sooooo convinced it was a GTR. Must have been that special edition they released.... NOT. I hate losers who do that sh!t.

All in all a couple of nice Lines out and about today.

Spotted grey r33 sedan when going home around 5.30ish last night, Albert St Preston - He gave me a beep.

Spotted lots of Skylines out and about in the St Kilda and Elwood beach area last night.

    • Hard to say, just pop the rocker covers off and have a look if you think it's cammed. You probably need to replace the valve cover gasket/half moons anyways.
    • From my youth: GTi-R clutch change is a massive pain. The gearboxes are fragile? But the car is super cool and I want one 😢

    • Driveline vibration is resolved. I ended up loosening all my engine mount and trans mount bolts, giving it a good shake then retightening everything and it's gone... Let's just say I was surprised that fixed it.  I've been happily driving it around again but unfortunately put zero time into my direct port/constant pressure WMI setup. I'm on vacation next week, so I'll try and finalize it then.  On a different note, I spent all week fuel/ignition mapping 2x 216L V16 engines. Turbo's were burning glycol and we swapped them out for larger units. We also had planned emissions testing on site, so I figured I'd be there the same week to use their instrumentation and massage any emissions issues out if needed. This was a first for me. Fuel management is similar in certain ways to automotive (i.e air density as load variable) but very different in others. It's all PLC based and AFR's are controlled by air and not fuel. They use a control valve between the turbo and air manifold to control pressure which in turn controls AFR's. Due to this, target AFR tables supplied by the OEM are in pressures and not mass which really through me off. They use air pressure vs fuel pressure tables. I also relied on an O2 concentration sensor the emissions team had in the exhaust. Ignition timing was also all over the place and we were losing a fair bit of power. They're now happily sitting at 16-40BTDC depending on load. We were making about 1600kw at 900rpm at 90% load. Engines were running a lot smoother as well.
    • heh, aint no R32 ever meeting modern targa cage rules unless the driver is veeeery short OP, good luck with the sale, since its already in the land of freedom I'm sure you will find a good buyer.
