Komdotkom
I've got a new 21U highflow if you are interested. Tao did some secret squirrel shit to it about 5 years ago then I never used it. ATR43SS2 is a brand new turbo that is capable of making more power. Ball bearing option is highly recommended. It is also highly recommended working with our externally gated turbine housing kit. hypergear
Regarding to Rb20det highflows or builds from earlier discussion, they runs a smaller turbine and and compressor then a RB25det turbos. Can build it into a OP6 it would work similar to a HKS2530 with a modern wheel set for more power. Its not a bad choice. Sharing another result. hypergear
Sharing a pretty interesting result from a Rb20DET with Rb25det Neo Vct cams. Turbo's one of our ATR43-G2 BB model for RB20det in T3 .63 rear housing. Car managed to pull a pretty responsive 321rwkws on E85 fuel externally gated. Engine's in a Ford AU . hypergear
Updating this thread as some of yous would have seen on FB. Not about turbos this time, but a piece of information for people seeking the Rb2530det rout. I've attached results of my built Rb25det with Kelford cams Vs my built Rb30det with HKS cams, making it a reasonable comparison of what Rb25det Vs Rb30det is like. Both engines had identical setups, E85 fuel, made the same power, while the Rb30det was 1300RPM better in response, more power every where and 137Mn of extra torque. I’ve also attached result of differences HKS cams made in comparison to stock Rb25det cams on the Rb2530det engine. 6 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/621/#findComment-7980544 Share on other sites

hypergear
Updating result: R33’s back at Chequered tuning for with another of my in-house built specials. Car had no other changes apart from the turbocharger, we managed to get: 516rwkws @ 26psi 569rwkws @ 29psi 606rwkws @ 30psi 642rwkws @ 34psi Turbo’s holding boost with pretty consistent gain per additional PSI of pressure is added. Unfortunately my 3 bars Haltech Map sensor (vacuum is a bar) was very maxed, be back on the dyno to max out this turbo once new sensor arrives. Pretty successful day over all. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/621/#findComment-7981429 Share on other sites
hypergear
R33's back on the dyno again for development work, testing an new 6 blade 55mm prototype turbine. Using ATR43SS3ProR turbo for back to back test. New turbine shown a slightly laggier curve, but picked up 16kws on same boost pressure with smoother mid / top range power and torque band. Dose Pipe Sutututu
What RB wet dreams are made of, comes on super early and makes a great amount of power. hypergear
Updating result, This is from our latest ATR45SS-3 model, Its made for 100bhp applications. Same car as above. It managed to pull 636rwkws at 34psi. Drive ability wise, car hits 300rwkws by 4K and 450rwkws with 1014Mn of torque by 4250 RPM. Pretty good to drive with crazy amount of mid range torque. Run against ATR43SS-3ProR turbo from earlier. r33636rwkwsmusic2good1min.mp4 3 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/621/#findComment-7982659 Share on other sites
Desean Strickland
hey guys so i wana make 250-260kw atw on my rb25det, would the g2 be capable of making that power goal or do i need the g3? just kinda confused because on the site it says its capable of 350hp but doesn't say if its meant for an rb20 or if its suitable to make 350 on an rb25. ill be running 550cc side feeds, a walbro 460, frontmount IC and all the other stuff necessary cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/621/#findComment-7982731 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
G3 is the default profile for RB25. You wouldn't likely choose G2 for it. I can supply donor housings if interested. To make the power you will need 3 inches metal induction pipe, 600x300x100mm front mount cooler, at least 3 inches turbo back exhaust, programmable ecu, along with injectors, fuel pump, you've got. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-turbochargers-and-high-flow-services-development-thread/page/621/#findComment-7982772 Share on other sites
33GTRV
Stao, Just managed to get my hands on a GTI-R pulsar. I want a snappy 400 awhp, on stock stroke. Will do camshafts if required.
