Get standard plates from vicroads

Cheers, just had a word with bez about it as well

Do vicroads hand over standard plates same day?

standard plates cost $75 + $25 issuing fee now? got some when i changed the golf over to VIC and I was like wtf?

cost me 70 bux for slimline standard plates... would have been about 6 months ago. No fee to change them over

man, dont get me started on real estate agents :P

Inspect a house in my price range for auction, agent calls saying they have received offers way above auction range and will sell before auction. Told him to call me if the auction goes ahead. Received no call, decide anyway to visit the auction as details was on the domain website. Arrive to the appartment, and the auction was scheduled 1hr earlier than the stated time on the internet.

It ended up selling $8,000 over the expected auction range when he was telling me that he had received offers $50,000+ above auction range.

Stupid dropkick. I would have easily paid more than $8,000 on that property. Feel like giving him a call tomorrow and raging to him about his shifty and shitty dealings.

yeh unfortunately the industry is rife with duds, at least in a tougher market they get weeded out but we arent all like that i'd offer to show you some places but i spose you dont wanna be a westie ahahaha

like i said but let me know if i can help still trying to chase up the info you pm'd me havent had much luck if your looking at apartments at docklands i can get a guy who sells em new off plan and stuff there to help you maybe

So, thinking of an Evo V, VI or VI TME. Can get most under $20k too which is a plus. Hmmm....

Same here.

Although, there is many other cars I'd like to sample...

This looks interesting

"Geronimo Jerky's Stampede is the first beef jerky in Australia to use Guarana as an ingredient in it's marinading process. So now, not only does Geronimo Jerky give you massive amounts of protein, hardly any fat, a minuscule amount of carbs, but it also gives you a boost to keep you going. One great thing about Stampede is its slow caffeine release giving you a boost of energy that lasts and lasts."

Haha yeah haven't tried that one, I'm not a fan of guarana and all those energy boosters. Give it a shot and let me know? ;)

Oh and, heed their warning about washing your hands after handling the Flaming Arrow...my mate scratched his eye afterwards...had him keeled over!

At the heart of every Evo driver this is a craving for Banana. End of story.

That beeing said, I can't see the point in a TME over the 6. You're going to ditch the dampers and springs, tune etc etc etc

Getting hold of a TME turbo isn't that hard if you want the pimp Ti turbine wheel etc

    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
