White 35
yeah sorry we didnt get to catch up. I am not that good with cold introductions so didnt manage to chat with many guys I didnt already know! Regarding the intercooler, I wasnt present for the install (phone pic was from the boys in the shop). I know that the intercooler has made the tuning a little more complex but no big deal otherwise. I will get some info together and get back to you. thanks Mark. def catch up at the next event. handbrake
The car does bring out the kid in me. Track days are addictive in this car, which was the catalyst for all that has been done. wht510
Hey Mark & Trent, I'm pretty interested in what KW the car makes before and after you open the exhaust valve. Did you do a before and after test? Great work on the car by the way! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/322512-r35-build/page/5/#findComment-5332148 Share on other sites
handbrake
About 20 hp, mostly due to turbulence caused by having it shut rather than extra flow through the side without the muffler as the magna flow muffler is straight through. When closed there is a dead space in the closed section that likely creates turbulence at the y junction. MercuryMotorsport
The best thing to note is that with our exhaust (3.5" dumps into a 4" centre pipe with 2x 4" rear pipes) and the willall turbo upgrade, we achieved a BETTER THAN STANDARD boost curve! There has been approx 100rpm gain in boost response which, combined with the extra airflow of the larger turbos, provides heaps more torque in the midrange. Chris Rogers
this thing sounds horn! I'm not game to nail it but I can say that by the sound it has it WILL go. those that have seen it would have noted the camera setup. I had a problem to sort on that this morning.
