So i bit the bullet after a bit if discussion and have ordered a set of these for my M35. WIll be a bit of a hassle to get them to fit but everything with my M35 is a hassle so why should this be any

20x10 all round +35 3mm spacers up front 255/30/20 Not rubbing at all. Needs to be this height for the camber to pull them underish the guards.

Slightly off topic, read a little sticker above the factory wheel sticker this afternoon only to find out that it was running 235/50/18's. argh that they put back on the stock 17's. ok, now I have vented.

typo or legit? if legit that is a retarded tyre size/profile combo

Yep, I'm pretty sure that was it says.

I was just bummed out that they took the 18's off and put the stock 17's on :)

May have been done in australia before or during compliancing.

Your would not have had the 18's, they were only fitted to the ARX and AXIS.

The RS/RX only ever had 17's fitted.

It was not the factory sticker, it was an dodgy little japanese tyre shop job above the factory sticker. I would say they had 18's fitted after, or maybe the 18's were a factory option and they upgraded to the ar-x wheels.

The factory RS was 17 you are correct, but I'm poining out that at some point it had 18's in 235 fitted... hmmmmm nice.

Now I've had a real good look at the sticker it would appear it was done aftermarket at some point in the cars japanese life before it immigrated :down:

How much will you be lookiing at for them?

Any gutter rash?

I would be looking at a semi gloss respray in black so not too concerned about condition of paint, just overall condition of rim.

      Nah that is not actually a lot. Just painting my GTR frontend and the little bits to make sideskirts/nismo flare pieces work correctly/fit on the sedan/mount up correctly came to about $7000. Is it a lot? Sure. None of this is economical. Economy would be shelling the car and buying a 2010 Corolla to commute in. The perspective of all of this is different.

      I don't see any issues here. I've been saying all along this is a big job, the price reflects that.  When the car comes back perfect I'm sure it will feel like money well spent.

      So, I started this repair and got as far as "fixing" the holes with some fibreglass. God all those years working on boats came back quickly. I decided I'd reach out to some rust guys just to see what they would say about it. I came across a guy about 40 mins away and went to see him. He said the windscreen needs to come out, that there might be some more bits around the windscreen and he'd quote them at the time. But his quote was $300 to remove and replace windscreen and $3k for the damage he can see. He said he could respray the roof for $1200 and the bonnet for another $800 (somebody has previously rattle canned it, its horrendous). This is $5300 + any small additional bits. It's a lot, I get that and the name of one of my fave youtube channels 'Not Economically Viable' comes to mind.  I'm not being financially rational, but I've taken him up on the quote. He's opening a new shop in November with more room, so we're waiting for that. I'll leave the currently missing headliner out until then. I'm looking forward to it being fixed and having the paint looking nice again (lots of clear coat issues on the roof too). / flame suit on.
