Gonna have some new toys for this DECA hopefully. LSD should be arriving from the States in the next couple of weeks (hopefully before DECA), and I just purchased a Bee*R Rev limiter, lol. I know its kind of wanky on my car, but it will be fun all the same.

i contacted shepparton DECA by phone (i think it was 2008 or early 2009) and was told hire was $2200, at a point i was interested in facility hire. Which is what i was equating the $44 on. I did say a few more words too after that. i didn't say it costed to much and needed to be reduced so don't flame me in a attempt to what.... make me more unpopular, i already know people don't like me. i don't have a fanclub, or followers within the club and don't care, i come to events, meetings, and SAU days because i enjoy all thing's cars.

thanks. d.

Maybe you and Birds could team up and be mates.

Just an idea

Whoa kids - settle down.

DECA is meant to be about fun and having a good time, & yes we've had to up the price, I assure it's not something we wanted to do, but rising costs to run the day meant it had to happen.

Anyways... let's put these convos behind us and focus on having another awesome event!!!

Hope to see as many of you up there as possible.

Its great to see some new names on the list and also fantastic to see the return of some old blood - BRING IT ON!!!

PS. Dave - if you and your crew are coming out for dinner etc, be sure to let me know so I can book extra seats for you guys :D

I...have no idea? Good spot.

EDIT: Just googled it, it measures the rotation of your foot during a heel and toe.

Boys and girls listen up... Are you listenening..

I've seen a few of the vids from the last few rounds and I'd like to see you some of you step it up apart from the top guys who are driving awesome. Top work boys! Just go big and when you think your there go even bigger. Massive power slides not power skids with a spin (lame) and huge handbrake turns and compression lock ups not sensible driving Miss Daisy style. Ramp it up. Action, Action, Action! But save it for the skid pan if you can't drive in control!

And the night life. People give me some stories! I want to hear some feedback. Back like the old days. Ohh the old days! I want people spewing like the guy from Sydney (he was the weakest one that night and probably ever. He was also missing the Mexican gene so a little understandable). Plus all the nudy runs and people dancing with stripper poles for hours and riding cows and swimming in the lake etc.

Plus remember..

Never under estimate the power of the RB20. Never question it and never speak of it because its true power is so powerful and so secret that it will never ever be seen and only heard...

Haha yeah that was a night you mexicans can't let me forget.

Jameszilla was to blame for that.

Here's the lesson learnt; Don't skull the big drinks at taco Baz's, well one maybe but two and you will spew. Trust me.

Just send the forms in, I don't think you have to pay till you're in so you've got nothing to lose. Heaps of people pull out in the week or so beforehand so you'll probably still get in.

If not, you can ride in my car and still head out to Tacos with us.

    • @Butters I can't tell you why but the bigger HKS step 2 cams improved low and mid end immensely. Turbos started spooling about 1k RPM less than before and the idle/vacuum was rock solid, it was an absolute thrill to drive, 3rd gear pulls hit 180kmh where previously only managed 160. Conversely, the milder poncoms in there now have a funky idle making it harder to get off the line, drives poorly in lower revs, laggy and makes less power/torque throughout. Feels better after I swapped the EBC but unless I put it on the Dyno again, I can't say how much better.
    • Hi Sydney kid   do you still selling spring and blistein shocks for Nissan 260rs? Air any suspension upgrades? Please advice     yudy
    • Cams are not needed at this power level, they will create lag. The cam gears are a good idea though.
    • @Murray_Calavera yeah, I guessed as much, cooler temps, more boost, less knock, more timing, hello power. Unfortunately not quite within reach ATM, could upgrade my whole fuel system to support but still wouldn't have E85 to run it 😂  Anyway, I changed cams again, 260/260 poncam B and everything else the same except an EBC upgrade. Now I must say I was quite disappointed with the result as it was like running stock cams (didn't try to dial them in as they're supposed to be optimum already) but after awhile I suspected my new EBC was underperforming not to mention difficult to use. I recently swapped back my old EBC and it drives much better now, boost comes on sooner, more stable, no spikes etc, feels all quicker and faster than with stock cams. Planning to fiddle with the cam gears and see what happens but maybe skip the Dyno as I intend to revert to the HKS cams cos they really made the car come alive; low and mid end was unbelievable and it just wanted to rev to the moon, finally knew what people were raving about, RB26 really loves revs. Anyway, Dyno 03 is quite disappointing, in Dyno 02 although peak power was less and trailed off at the top, the low and mid end improvement more than made up for it.
    • @Darrel It's so tempting to say e85 is borderline magic. It cools the intake charge, so if you're flirting with the edge of the turbos compressor map it helps dramatically cool down the hot air the turbos are pumping. It is very resistant to detonation so you can crank the timing, I don't really want to say you won't be knock limited anymore.... but you probably wont be knock limited anymore lol. I wouldn't be surprised if you made 20% more power swapping to e85 (provided you have the fuel system to support them, bigger injectors maybe bigger pump etc).
