Ill send you thru some photos when i get some off mine. i think i have +20 offset on a 18x10 inch rim with stretched tyres..

the rears are in just and the fronts are out of the guards by about an inch..

That would be great...

Cheers.

Here's what I did to my Stagea on Thursday night on the way up the coast:

Tyre blew on the F3 just before the heavy vehicle checking station/weighbridge - luckily for me it just deflated really quickly instead of exploding. MASSIVE thanks to StageIan for helping, and then giving me a lift home from the coast.

Obviously I'll have to take a LOT of camber out when I get a new set installed in a few days - both sides were worn right down to the thread/metal...

That last pic looks like normal rear camber wear on an M35 with 235+ tyres :whistling:

Not nice, not nice at all but good you could get a lift home (no spare?)!

With a bit moar low, those would be tucked up very nicely

Yew this is true, they're coming off tomorrow as its pretty much sold so back to the stockers for the new owner

The rears are fine I think but maybe a +15 would be alot better on the front

Bidding on some R32 GTR calipers from Canadia. Anyone know what a full set is worth?

Saw them come up and they're much cheaper than 350Z Brembos...

I picked up all 4 for $300 off here...

I paid $300 for R32 GTR calipers (front only) plus $300 for new slotted rotors.

Cheers

Interesting... can you fit the 32mm R32 discs with R33 GTSt calipers?

I'm winning a set of R32 GTR non-Brembos at the moment, so assuming they don't go over my budget I'll pick them up.

one of the guys @ my work has a set of 32gtr calipers he tried to sell me, if ya don't win the auction, yell out and i'll see what i can find out!

if he does win the auction can you find out the price anyway lol

Yeah find out what you can, if they're cheap enough I won't bother bidding any higher on the auction and waiting months for these from Canadia by boat.

Pretty sure I can get to Big Fella's place faster than you Aaron :P

ahahah im in no rush. they dont fit under my wheels.. hence i bought new wheels which should be on the car within a month..

GTS-T and GTR are the same as said before. so theres no doubt I'll get my hands on some for cheap!!

Just make sure you get a new seal kit and change the seals in em!!

Ofcourse you'll get to big fella quickly. he couldnt possibly outrun you...he only drives a Camry :nyaanyaa: jokessssss!

of course i couldn't outrun him, i'm very unfit.

but i am more attractive, and rumour has it.... we are having a penis measuring contest at the dyno day! that will sort the men from the boys and the girls of course, but i'm not really sure why they'd enter being female and all, unless they had penis envy, or just wanted to see the competition. or maybe they were really dudes dressed as m 35 owners...i mean girls....JKs :nyaanyaa: :nyaanyaa:

back on topic, i'll ask him today and get a price for whoever wants them!!

    • Hi guys, long time no post as per usual! It's been a busy year so far, the biggest thing being a new job.  After 28 years in the automotive industry I decided it was time for a change.  I was losing faith in the industry and where it's heading.  Now in a completely different industry (electrical) working for a company that manufacture water pump contollers.  Not as sexy as cars but it's an interesting,  challenging industry. I now don't work Saturdays which is a bonus!  It's still 50-55 hours a week but having Saturdays ack after 28 years of working them is awesome!   No news on the GT-R but i did decide to add some more JDM goodness into my life....           1990 300 ZX.  She's not perfect but for a 35 year old car she ain't bad!  Just going to tidy it up a bit and enjoy it.  It's currently auto but will start stockpiling everything for a manual swap. It WILL distract me even further from the GT-R but im hoping not for too long! It somewhat proves a 6'8" freak can fit in a 300 ZX.  Sort of...  I drove it home from the previous owners house in Melbourne via Black Spur and Merton Gap (2 awesome bits of Victorian twisty road) and it was amazing!  Handles so well!!!   I don't think it would be worthy of a full build page but I'll post up some of the upgrades here if anyone is interested?  Cheers guys!
    • End game is to: - Remove all the slop from old worn parts - Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).   Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs! Next steps: - Buy bushings - Replace bushings/bearings on hub - Reinstall
    • Cracked deck  And other cam snap stuff
    • A few random issues have popped up since my last update. My WMI pressure sensor failed within about 10 minutes of it seeing liquid. It was a 20$ China special, so I'm not surprised. My name brand replacement should arrive today.  My power steering assist also decided to crap out last weekend. The usual, works for about 60 seconds after starting the car then I lose it. I dusted off my old copy of NDS and connected to the HICAS ECU. Code 4 for assist solenoid.... I tested the solenoid and it's fine.  I knew the day where my HICAS ecu would crap out would come, and I welcome it. It was the last HICAS part on the car that is now in the bin. I've ordered an SSR and I will control the power steering solenoid with my Haltech ecu. It will be nice to have proper speed referenced assist again after all these years.
