I still have a set on my C34.

(Now with added rear spoiler)

Yep I think they are quite good looking wheels. I put a spoiler on my car too - the only bit of expenditure that doesn't make the car go faster - because I think it improves the look a lot. I would like to lose the roof rails but can't justify the cost atm.

Not done much to mine recently. But have just acquired a 12" long crack in the windscreen on the lower passenger side.. Then today taking my little boy swimming I parked on a hill (rear down to the left) with not much fuel, car started fine, reversed went up said hill out of the swim center and car cut out, with lack of fuel. Light didnt even flicker on the way up there, but was on nice and bright when I returned.. All the fuel must have moved away from the fuel pump and got me stranded on a hill.

Thinking my coils are on theyre way out also, cars just clocked 170,000km and getting some crazy hesitation under boost around the 3,500 rpm mark.. Going to pop the coils out tomorrow for a closer inspection..

One day I will get around to ordering some coilovers, bigger brakes and some tasty wheels, but for now itll be general maintenance and unwanted repairs :(

Won't do any harm to give the coils a good clean and maybe insulate them but have you had a new set of plugs lately? And gap them down to 0.8mm

Today I DROVE the Dayz. I am a happy man. Only took ten months!

Also found out that when you turn on the immobilizer, if the windows are down, they come up Another plus.

Did a couple of things over the weekend.

Got the tailgate and cargo floor struts re-gassed, $90 for all 4.

Always seemed to be the wife who would get whacked in the head by the tailgate!

Also did the brake cut mod, used a nice subtle missile switch.

what have I don't lately?? Well... had a little leaking issue in number 6. went to change plugs. 6 was seized, snapped the plug below the nut. FML . had pro threads come out who smashed the ceramic and blew it all out then heli coiled it. BUT he managed to get the ceramic from the plug into the exhaust. so when I started it blew through snapping 3 fins off my newly high flowed turbo. the little tail end of the spark plug hung around in the cylinder doing a little dance in on the piston and tickling the head! So now I have a gt3582 going on. the head is at the mech being cleaned up but when they where dismantling the head they cam across the intake cam`s snapped locator pin. so now I'm on the hunt for a standard RB25 neo intake cam! have you got one? na or turbo both the same!

these are from Z33. i've bought complete kit - fronts, rear, center console as it is on pics

here is rear one:

also fitted 19" CE28N with custom paint 9.5+22 fronts with 245-40, rears 10.5+22 with 275-35. Rolled rear guards a bit)

love this rims a lot. finish is custom, bought them in bronze, got mirror polished, then painted centers with acrylic matte.

wondered if there is no button to "cut" post, showing pics only on demand

Looks awesome mate one up on me hoe do you find the hight of the seats? Wouldn't have thought the rears would fit but goid to know. Do they fold down like stock seats all the way?

Very impressive. I hope to replace my factory seats one day but wanted to keep a more luxury appeal.

.... and those wheels

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
    • From memory, on the R33 GTSt at least, while everyone says "It's not adjustable", I found when I changed clutches in mine, it just needed a small adjustment on the rod length. But be very wary here, as you could end up trying to push the pushrod in the master too far, or blowing out the slave.   Most likely though, if the master/slave isn't bypassing internally or leaking out, then the throw out is the wrong height compared to the fingers on the clutch, so when it moves to disengage the clutch, it isn't 100% disengaged. You can check part of this out too by jacking the car up, having the engine running, put your foot on the clutch and try to engage 1st gear. If it goes in pretty easy (Compared to the ground) and/or the wheels start turning a fair bit and it takes a bit too much brake pedal to bring them back to a stop, this is likely the issue.  I'm not sure if you can adjust the height of the forks etc in these though, it's been that long since I've touched any RB gearbox.
    • That's all good, I thought I was missing some interesting feature! Maybe @PranK can double check if that is something that is meant to be operating or not.
    • I hope that is not something that bad. From what i remember he said that only first gear is "hard" to get in and that he has couple of ideas what to try next but idk 😕  hope it is not gearbox out. I will let you know.
    • If it's not the hydraulics, it is probably gearbox back out. Usually as per @Duncan's post, or otherwise associated with not getting the throwout fork positioned correctly. All the way up to catastrophically bolting shit back together without it being aligned properly and wrecking the clutch/input shaft/flywheel/something else.
