Thanks, shall PM you later when I've got access to computer.

Not easy getting job for major construction companies?

Also do you have to be member for union?

They tend to be more picky....The company I just landed a job with started with 100 applicants, probably narrowed down from more than that...Cut that 100 to 30 for interviews, then 8 out of those 30 got jobs. Considering I'm an adult apprentice (over 25) it was even harder for me given that out of the 8 being hired, only 1 would be an adult apprentice..

Don't HAVE to be a member of the union...I'll be signing up though. Wasn't a member at my previous job because they were a bunch of cocksuckers that did nothing, but the ETU is a decent union (according to all of my sparky mates) so I'm happy to join.

You'll probably be pressured to join, but at the end of the day it's up to you. They might treat you differently if you refuse to sign up as well...but would depend on the job/people you're working with obviously

Dezz, yeah being adult apprentice is tough (am nearly 25 myself), it comes all down to selling myself and talking them to pick me over pimply faced young lads.

About the unions... I'll worry about it later, gotta find out more. I've also been told building/construction type unions are way better than other type of union.

Thanks again.

Sort of the same. Depends on where you work. But CA is alot harder than CPA.

Had alot of people at our firm come from CPA backgrounds, try the CA and then fail hard. Failure rate in CA is pretty high. And when someone fails at work they usually cry, because you've just wasted money and 1/2 a year studying your arse off outside a full time job for nothing...

ah fair go. Grats on the credz. Always hard to do more studies after uni

My uni course cost me 40k lol

+1 Engineering aint cheap :(

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
