I agree with his attitude re been pulled over is immature but if ppl call him spoilt for having that car or whatever that's not right since he works for it

Kinda hard to hide an orange m3, maybe he should have thought of that

But the argument of 'if you don't want attention don't drive a car like that' is the same attitude that other people say 'if you don't want attention don't drive a skyline' :P

In other news my radiator blew up yesterday. I find it interesting that the stock R34 GTT radiator is only 15mm thick about 1/2 the core thickness of an R33 GTST-T radiator.

So, that was the problem?

Are you saying 34 GTT have smaller radiator than R33 GTST?

I have a feeling it might be a factor in my high oil temps. Will see, new 50mm radiator should be installed tonight.

Factory R34GTT radiator is 15mm thick which is apparently half that of an R33 GST-T.... Why new car but smaller radiator Nissan?

Its not always about the money, just coz you can afford to pay the fines doesn't mean you should. Its more about not letting kunts walk over you be it a police officer or not.

If he sais he was being targeted i'd have no trouble believing that. But that's just me...

As for the car hmm that m3 is easily f430 money which is what i'd rather have

Tony, that is why R33's are better nyaanyaa.gif

You raise a valid point Sir.

But it is my understanding you no longer have an R33 :nyaanyaa:

What has he done to the car to make it F430 money? New M3 is about $140-150K?

F430 were about $400-450k new. If we are talking about 2nd hand I would Imagine it would still be about $250-300K

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
