Interdasting. Maybe I'll throw in 3 small chips, too (have recently been informed that you get double the amount of chips compared to 1x large this way... Haven't verified it myself yet though). And maybe grape fanta. Because i'm generous. But mostly because it's awesome.

In other news, thoughts on new iPhone 5?

Had a look at some rumours and what not before sleep... Then looked at the actual release and a lot were bang on lol, gg leaks.

Time to choose a new phone soon...

Was told 3x small chips = $3, 1x large chips = $2.95.

But like mentioned above, maccas does vary a bit from place to place... let us know results after your 'field research' :P

Re: iphone, still gotta wait for some more indepth hands-on reviews and see it for myself irl.

My iphone 4 has been decent to me (had a shattered screen for a while though :P). Wouldn't mind switching to android either, though.

Will have to see. /Need moar info.

I waas one of those people.... in the end the phones are all fairly similar but apple's customer service and reliability has swayed me back... next phone will definately be an iphone again.

It crashes sometimes, but only takes 2 secs to reboot :)

plus there seems to be alot more features on the android that aren't on the iphone becuase of restrictions or whatever

cant, the rears would look silly as plus I need 19s because I'll be doing a 6pot brembo upgrade at some stage down the track

Agreed with the haters on iPhones.. all the f**king smart phones these days have big touch screens, take photos and have 'apps' zomg soooo different!! apple is too mainstream? I don't care because my car has integrated iPhone connectivity so I can have everything display on my screen in the car and use steering wheel to change tracks etc. If I had an Android I'd have to plug it into the 'AUX' connection and use the phone itself to change tracks.. that alone is enough for me to go Apple really.

And same as what Alvin said with the Ipad wifi model, just use my phone for reception if I'm out and abut.

Oh and Hamish you're right about the customer service / replacement phones, pretty good. I used them a fair bit at my old work.

      Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.

      So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!

      OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
