cant, the rears would look silly as plus I need 19s because I'll be doing a 6pot brembo upgrade at some stage down the track

also, STRAYA KANT.

How much will this set you back?

How big are the rotors on your car out of curiosity?

I don't get the re agents and cocaine reference, but anyway I'm unashamedly a fan of iPhone and almost every business is working towards it and being compatible

Not hating on Samsung or whoever never tried it but as they say if it ain't broke don't fix it

I used to think phones were the best, even after putting up with it constantly crashing and it not syncing music like it's supposed to

Then I got an S3

Lol iphone.

So the s3 is good? Full review please. I'll consider buying your bike

Reading this right now.

Always find the Motor Tuner challenge intradasting

Sub $75k cateogry dominated by 86's and Golf's

Would have been more interesting if they did it on a bigger handling track. I.e. winton or something

They're the only reason I buy Motor otherwise I wouldn't bother buying/browse it at all.

86/BRZ and Golfs seems to be next budget 'Tuner' cars.

You can get a front brembo 6pot kit with braided lines and brackets for just a tad over 2k for my car

322mm stock rotors on the GS, brembo kit comes with 355mm rotors

Straight from a review of the GS:

Braking: With the same brakes as the XR8 (322mm and 302mm discs, sliding calipers), the 315kW GS is under-braked in our view, even as an entry model.

Feel through the pedal is soft, making it poorly matched to the ability of the engine. A shame, then, that the GT's four-piston Brembos are no longer an option on the GS.

Basically they didn't allow brembo factory upgrades because then you would be getting a GT for 15-20k less.. engine and everything else is the same only difference is the "315" and "335" tune which goes out the window anyway now that mines tuned to what? 440kw? lol

Agreed with the haters on iPhones.. all the f**king smart phones these days have big touch screens, take photos and have 'apps' zomg soooo different!! apple is too mainstream? I don't care because my car has integrated iPhone connectivity so I can have everything display on my screen in the car and use steering wheel to change tracks etc. If I had an Android I'd have to plug it into the 'AUX' connection and use the phone itself to change tracks.. that alone is enough for me to go Apple really.

And same as what Alvin said with the Ipad wifi model, just use my phone for reception if I'm out and abut.

Oh and Hamish you're right about the customer service / replacement phones, pretty good. I used them a fair bit at my old work.

Stick to ya Bob Jane wheels  STRAYA KANT

Android for the fucking win! KANT!

    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
