No u

Probably going to downgrade and invest any profit

how cute

i have heard much of this 'new vb is ok' talk... must test this... for academic sake, of course

it's the old VB again

they dropped the alcohol percentage to 4.7% to avoid tax which was the "new formula"

but now they have put it back to the old recipe and are just absorbing the extra tax.... coincidentally this happened just after a price rise

almost finished a corona slab got from the boss at christmas. used to avoid it, but its not as bad as i thought (imported stuff anyway).

on topic: moscato in a can. will try it if I come across it

Been on the Oetty's for a while now

http://danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_914086/oettinger-pils-bottles

$29 a slab and I drink a slab a week

based on DM's full price for draught that's a saving of $830 per year for a better beer with no preservatives.

f**king win

that is damn cheap,

will give it a try next week

yup... it's cheap cheap beer in germany already, and they direct import it, so no middleman costs.

and even the cheapest german beer is better than 99% of aust beer...

he is saying you are an alco.

I realise... I wanted further elaboration though

I only drink probably 15-20 a week and the rest are mrs/mates etc

but I do drink a bottle of scotch a month which is in reality only 1 a day

yeah i was drinking lowenbrau from vending machines in germany and that was even good!

saw a few cases of hofbrau at dan murphys a couple of months ago, they wanted like 75$ though.. f**k that

6 months ago I was talking to a Treasury Estate rep who said they were trying to push moscato onto the younger crowd. I made the prediction that one day it will make it's way into nightclubs as an on-tap, women's counterpart to the men's cider craze. Canning it is half way there. I wonder if my prediction will come true...

I confess to liking moscato and late harvest. If I recall correctly, it was originally pushed as a nightclub/bar drink but never took off. Maybe the timing wasn't right or they didn't have the marketing of today.

When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
