Bullshit. You get change for your notes, it comes in coin form, you carry it home. You're a coin carrier, whether you like it or not.

Thus for all the note only hipsters, a wallet with no coin spot is impotent and futile, as it defeats the point of a wallet in the first place, which is to keep all your shit together in a neat spot. So unless you're going to spontaneously offload your change coins onto some unwilling recipient right then and there, you might as well carry coins and notes and cards all loose in your pocket, or buy shit that adds up to exactly a note, or get a wallet with a f**kin coin spot.

I don't need a cigarette I'm just always pissed off.

i pay for practically everything with a card, but always carry some notes incase they dont accept cards.

Cows are okay, but we need to find another 80ish acres to store them for 6 months until the grass starts growing again, otherwise they have to be sold as there is no feed for them anymore

Been shit though we are stuck at home, all the roads are currently blocked off so if we go into Kilmore or Wallan we can't come back home, even though there is no risk to our place anymore

Power has been off for 2 days straight now too, so running a generator to have at least some power

matter of curiosity how many cows?

They are nice. will be at qantas terminal on friday night, will check out Carry On.

The protective wallet sounds pretty good.

have never paid for a 30c cone on card. but theres a first for everything.

The note sleeve seems to be what I'm after

Paywave brah

In saying that can't say Ive never had 30 cents in the car

dont like Paypass for 2 reasons.
1) takes a few days to process, like a signed transaction. its annoying

2) have been charged twice before because the first scan didnt work, but was processed by my bank i think. got my money back thankfully.

and when will banks make a card where the paint on the numbers dont rub off. FFS its a wallet, not sand paper. stupid cheap cards. millions of dollars on security and can be breached with someone taking the card and paypassing anywhere. and then the card snaps in half in your wallet because off added stress from 50c pieces behind it. stingy dream boats

Flip wallet is perfect carries notes and like 8 cards if you really need that many, without being bulky. I only really carry two credit cards a licence and an atm card which I never even use really.. Plus whatever notes usually sub 100 as I pay everything on credit cards.

And I've never really seen another tradie with a money clip apart from my mate who got one coz he liked mine :)

Forget talking about change in your pocket, how's the car drive Tony? :)

Ha! I took it for a quick spin down some roads the other night

Suprisingly i have lots of traction, full concentration is required tho once you boot it

Best way to describe the car compared to 280rwkw is

2nd gears feels like 1st gear

3rd gear feels like 2nd gear

lol. I think we all know that feeling...

"ehh will give it a bit of juice - oh wait, doing over 100 already, better back off"

    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
