3" fujitsubo legalis.

im wrapt with the power though.

My 3inch wasn't even a 1kw restriction when we tested at 320-330rwkw on 98 octane.

And wasn't a restirction at 380rwkw on E85

Just sayin

Not all 3 inches are created equally

Moh are you running a cat...if so, ditch that...

Cooler piping and cooler is always an obvious one

Intake pipe sucking shut is never good

Sometimes the turbo you've chosen can have a restrictive exhaust housing particularly if it's a responsive turbo and gets choked up top

That power is plenty for the street, hit up E85 and be laughing

i do have a decat.
ill throw some intercooler hardpipes on this bitch when i can.
wouldnt be intake pipes, george is making about 400kw with stock intake pipes and cooler.

my problem is i dont want a cannon, and all the free flowing exhausts are cannons.
also will need cam gears, and may go for a set of cams while im there. because mohsen.
but most importantly, ill have to drive it for a bit and get used to it.

Don't understand why workshops if they say its an exhaust issue, just don't quickly test it by dropping the exhaust. (As long as the customer is happy to pay for the extra time)

Would suck for Moh and other customers if they bought a whole new exhaust system only to come back and have the exact same issues

You have 707160 -9s yeah?

Should make 300+ at 18 especially with rebuilt motor.

they didnt say it was exhaust, not sure whats up. the car has been an absolute bucket of shit.
my first build experience has been nothing but a nightmare.

just random shit that shouldnt have happened. eg: f**king vac leaks everywhere.

You did replace every vacuum hose on the engine while it was out though? Right?

Generally Fujitsubos have a narrowed down part of the piping just before the rear muffler to keep things quite despite being a 3" system, even their cannon systems have this

Also 2nd spot of the new falcon today (first on saturday night at ribs & burgers in Cragieburn)

Digging the bronze colour much more than the blue, looks more like a BA/BF shape again though

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
