Incase you kunts didn't know, just because you're on a mountain doesn't mean you have to drive like you're being chased...

Have fun rolling/dying while I cruise along enjoying the views lol

but its fun.

I'm too scared of dandy mountains. I saw a friend roll his car this the hill, while I was a passenger in another car.. Since then all the cruise that people organize through there I refuse to attend..

Especially when the paramedics said they didn't think he would make it. Shit f**ks you up

Sure shakes you up. Still get the odd shiver down the spine if I think about the accident while driving. Our paramedics expected dead bodies!

Yeh Dandenong mountains just scares me though. I think it's because I can picture exactly what happened. Arthur's seat you can't really get as much speed as you can at dande so yeh. And that's when my tyres were shonky lol

Stop making excuses lol, it's still dangerous wherever you are. The reality is that we either learn our lessons for good or we forget them in the heat of a moment, when stupid ideas are too fun to resist. Then you either die doing what you love or you make it through the havoc and eventually grow out of it. Arthur's seat is a much slower speed, I'll give you that. Sliding in towards the mountain, I reckon the worst you'd end up with is a fender bender. Bikes are even slower going up there, had to slip the clutch in 1st gear on some corners...

I too love a nice easy drive through the mountains, there's not much more pleasant. I don't drive fast through the mountains anymore, it doesn't thrill me like it used to. But the bike tells me to do bad things up there, which I guess is worse...

Moh I don't like them sorry, when I see skyline I think sports car - 5 spokes, etc not VIP or euro spec, although Alex managed to pull it off with his VIP spec rims would need the perfect stance.. but I never was a fan of the BBS style rim

that's just me though it comes down to your own choice don't forget :)

It's gotta look tough, and kinda classy. So, functional stance.

Other rim choice is bbs rs' and get custom lips made up.

Classy? What for it's not a g series it's an r32. f**k class make it look as tough as nails dude

Yeh lol but I don't do it going down the hill to me that's REALLY asking for it. But I'm over the whole doing skids thing I think. I got a good scare in this weather and havnt done it since. Just waiting now for wider wheels and tyres now, a good allingment and I should be safe again.

Ps. f**k semi slicks are shit in the wet. Never again

but its fun.

so is cocaine, don't mean you do it :domokun:

what semi's you running?

I just went to R888 and found them to have much mroe grip in the wet compared to previous tyres, was a big surprise

would not want to test them in a monsoon but in general much better

Nah they're just KU36 I didn't really have a choice in the matter as I'm borrowing them off Scott until my varrstoens get here. But even in the dry they are shit, I have absolutely no traction its a pain in the ass

thats fair but dont get those ugly ass pretzel looking things.

lmao, other choice is work equips.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
