That's good you found it.

Did you have a bit of flex pipe between the waste gate and returning back to the exhaust?

No soild stainless steel 304 pipe. Thought it would be fine. Guess not. Might just change it to a screamer pipe. Never worry about it again

Yeah neo heads are good for 22.0 psi but damn if you touch 22.1 all your valves will melt.

nah the neo heads are awesome. much better than the R33 item.

This car has an entirely stock neo engine and 26psi or something:

28psi on high boost.

if it's your tuner and in specific reference to your turbo that's fair enough then... I'd imagine the tiny little rear housing will get pretty hot too...

In any case you are building a 3.0 and it's not my money so boost it till it pops and post vids

Was told that by 999 automotive. If I run 98 don't go past 22psi and if I run e85 then not to go past 26 27psi.

The guys at 999 Automotive don't know shit, not to mention they sell exhaust parts that don't even fit or line up.

What a croc of shit, I've run 24psi on 98RON through my stock as bat shit motor on pretty low timing (7~8 degrees) but was pointless because the manifold was glowing red as EGTs were too high.

yeah lol at set PSI, ok I'll run 22psi on a 70cm turbo from a mine truck, it'll be fine.

I love the neo head as well, simon doesn't like them though as they tend to ping more than the r33 one but they make more down low with a nicer torque curve due to the better VCT

Might be too much power for this thread but:

Neo head is good for 28psi. Or possibly more, This one haven't melt yet.

Running our very first ATR45SAT prototype turbo, externally gated off stock exhaust manifold. Stock standard, Unopened Rb25det Neo engine.

LOL go Stao!

is that your modified manifold or did you switch back to stock?

Thats actually pretty impressive for any 25..........be even more impressive if its a daily driver and lasts.

Still...they all said that 300 was too much for std motors but look at the number of owners doing that and the sky didn't fall.

So 400 is the new 300!!!

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
