Richard you act like i literally didn't just buy these items? lol it was literally the last thing i did.

Wait till you need something larger from RHD and get them to literally throw it in the box. Shipping is free. Kindy like dobby the free elf.

<3 S!n is a bro.

Seriously though. I would spend my cash on them again when they fade. (i'd say itl take a while)

Weirdly enough, found them on eBay.

Sure thing mate. The front section that goes under the front guards are actually identical for 2piece standard standard and 3 piece Nismo. 76853-05U00.

Thanks for getting back to me Rbn1, are you sure it is the same part number for both sides. I'm almost positive they would be different for each side since the are two different parts. I did suspect the front piece was the same between 2 and 3 piece skirts thanks for confirming it.

Thanks for the part numbers for the handles too guys, mine faded or went chalky a few years ago, was surprised when it happened. I think I need the surrounds too.

What is the handling mod on the way..?

Ah yes. Good point, i'll get you the part no's of both sides soon.

I'll post up the handling mod this weekend hopefully.

Thanks mate.

The inner mirror cover/garnish? Those ones are just carbon dipped standard items.

Something that I did get from Yahoo Japan - Nismo rear pods. These are copies. Wanted to get originals but decided against it after I saw how much dorra they were. The copies were pricey enough.

These coupled with the standard bootlid & spoiler with lip, 3 piece sideskirts - Project 32GTR Nismo bodykit commences this summer.

Nismo Body Kit is a must!

God after looking at that, and at Ants car i have come to the conclusion:

it's much easier to have a standard fking colour.

Thanks mate, it's been on my list of shit to work out for awhile now. Would be good to get the ordered and crossed off the list.

Looking forward to the reveal :)

Before I forget :

the part no.s for the front section of the skirt
passenger : 76853-05U00
drivers : 76852-05U00
edit : got the part no.s the wrong way around

Thanks so much mate, I just thought to check back now too. So does your post read correctly now after the edit?

Merry Christmas, hopefully you get some money for the build :)

Yep, it's correct.

Thanks mate.

Speaking of Christmas. Decided to upgrade the coilovers. The Bilsteins were pretty decent but it was hard to say no to these.

Racepace re-valved & setup Tein RE's.

These will have better control and improved comfort. Can't say no to that.

Holidays is a good time to get work like this done.

Was recommended this stuff by the paint shop that I bought the matched paint from.

Cutting compound for idiots. Works remarkably well. Spray on wax afterwards.

Got the side skirts and rear pods on. Still waiting on the plastic clips that hold the centre skirt in properly.

Went for a drive up to Mt. Macedon with a mate.

Black is an amazing colour. Amazing at hiding every single curve and showing up dirt.

Nismo Rear pods are nice and subtle.

Gotta make time to get the coilovers on.

Try matte black and red dust :( what is and where did you get that boot lip?

Yep that's be worse. Much worse.

Came from Japan with it. It's a fibreglass bootlid with the lip built in to it. Haven't seen another one like it. Possibly some sorta custom job.

I like it and will hang on to it but i'm planning on getting the standard rear boot lid/spoiler combo with nismo lip sprayed up and put on.

    • That's probably OK. That's a face to face compression joint between two surfaces with the clamping load provided by those bolts. So.... it's unlikely that the bolts will end up feeling that load in shear, unless the clamping surfaces are not large enough, bolts not got enough tension on them, etc etc to prevent the two faces from moving wrt each other. Which... I would hope the designers have considered, seeing as it's probably one of the most important things the upright has to do apart from resist collapsing in its own right. But yes, it would definitely be worth asking them what their safety factor on that part of the design was. I tend to think that the casting, being a casting, is not necessarily the strongest bit of material in the world. It's about an inch square, and when you think about the loads that are being put into it, you have to wonder what safety factor the Nissan boys (and every other OEM engineer who has designed all the millions of other uprights that look essentially the same) used to account for defective casting, aging, severe impacts on the wheel, etc etc.
    • Those bolts would be orders of magnitude stronger that cast aluminium though.  And its mainly clamping force, not shear they are dealing with?
    • Except all that twisting force that is breaking a cast piece, appears to be going through 4 bolts in the picture Johnny posted of the BryPar one...
    • The smart approach is to use the gearbox loom from the manual car. Makes it a lot easier - just plugs into the switches on the box and plugs into the main loom up near the fusebox. Then you only need to deal with bypassing the inhibit switch. The other approach requires you to use the wiring diagram to identify those wires by colour and location, perhaps even indulging in a little multimeter action to trace them end to end to make sure, and then.... you will have the answers you need. The R34 wiring diagram is available on-line (no, I do not have a link to it myself - I would have to do a search if I wasn't able to go to the copy I have at home).
    • Hi, i’m converted my r34 4dr auto to manual but need help with gearbox wiring. There are bunch of wires no idea which one for speedo drive, neutral, reverse can anyone help me. IMG_6860.mov
