Hey mate not sure if it was you but your dp looks familiar.. did you once post up a video of your white gtr showing how quick it can change direction at the track? it was a right then left and it looked f mad!

yep, it's a pre-done road car with a good setup for the track. I won't be fiddling any more than it's been fiddled with. I have heard I need a mortgate for the oil changes but that's something I'm willing to suck up. I should have my backside in it in two weeks from now. wooo hoooo

Top stuff Aaron, the best things come to those who wait, and you my friend have waited long enough.......lol. Can't wait to see it in action, and hopefully that wont be too far away. The maintenance costs may hurt a bit, but I just spent approx $550 on a full oils change, and that was me doing it myself. $790 if I put it in the shop :yucky:

holy shit Do I really want to do this? Snowy has nearly put me off with how many breakables there are on these things and the costs. Fortunately, it has a transmission cooler already. Now I am half scared. I though a 35 was a strong car.... maybe I should get another EVO instead. That thing was farking bullet proof and it was quick too in the hills. You could guarantee to get a passenger to wimper with fear...

I'm selling the 34 soon, I've only done around 15 competitive laps since I bought it from you Aaron, and I have spent 15k on it easy too. Virtually no Kms been put on it except the drive from Melbourne to Brissy. It's a bit sad for me now too, but life just hasn't allowed me to use it anymore. Nearly 14 months injured didn't help.

It broke the fastest GTR lap record in QLD on my second lap in it ever too......lol. It's .2 seconds off the fastest lap time for a street car in QLD now too, and it did that with less than 10 laps to get into the groove.

You probably wouldn't want to buy it back as you have already owned it, but you would have first grabs on it if you were interested in it again.

You'll be right as long as it's not a black lemon

I woke up in the middle of the night with terrible chest pains. Snowy. What are you doing to me?

I think the one I am buying is tip top anyway. It's had a ton of Willall improvements made to the transmission and I won't be caning it non stop.

I've never experienced a car like it. I am astounded at what a great car Nissan have made this time. I reckon it would keep up with my Honda superbike.

Pfft I can do that in a Ford Laser...I just can't guarantee their life persisting beyond the drive.

    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
