a V8 is perfect for street :)

I've driven a few V8s and absolutely love the power/flat torque.. although the noise sounds abit shit.. (minus euro V8s, they somehow sound farking tits)

This is perfect for street!

(and you can even get grip in auto's 1st! - which is somewhere between 1st and 2nd)

FWIW, I wrote this car off due to driving entirely off boost, entirely off throttle, making about 3rwkw.

You can drive anything on the street.

It's the driver, not the car people.

Yes I'd like to know the Neo set up too .

I'm not sure if there is a perfect RB25 setup , an RB30 in a lesser state of tune ie same 260 odd RWKW must be real flat and almost V8 like .

Actually thinking about it Mr Mafia always reckoned his power delivery was almost V8 like and his R33 RB25 had a 0.63 GT3076R on it .

A .

After owning and driving many different cars id say every car has its pluses and minuses, i know the rwd skyline isnt the fastest, but its about what makes you happy.

Power level, whatever brings a smile to your face... And you can control the power with your left foot anyways.

Drive what makes you happy, im just under 300kw, would i like more sure, is my skyline a good daily, no. Its just my fun car, it can still scare me and thats what i like.

So 300kw on the street is fine, more would be fine in my fun car, but as a daily i would want easy driving in traffic and eaay to get in and out of, easy to park and not worried to park it anywhere.

Would i like a nice custom built 400kw daily sure, but being a bit meticulous id be always servicing it and worried about the depreciation of high ks...

For a daily get something easy and economical for your budget... Fun car can be any power level and any type of car...

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
