Full confidence in Jez, he doesn't strike me as someone who would think fumes in the boot is acceptable.

Jez picks up hitch hikers on the Pacific Highway and if they are still conscious 30 mins later then the system passes the test....

haha, thats a worry, I do not think I want to leave my car with someone that picks up hitch hikers, well, unless they are really HOT!

not that it will make any difference but what did the Teflon braided cost for the job, just wondering the price difference between that and a cheaper alternative ?

I can't remember whet the hose cost. As its my daily I have 3 kids to cart around so I didn't want any fuel smell so Teflon in the boot and series 400 outside the boot

Talked to Jez today and he is using the Teflon Braided lines, so all good.

I have kids too, so I know what you mean and the trouble with petrol you do not need more than a drop or 2 and it hangs in there for yonks :/

The original one is in this thread.

The car hasn't been to another tuner yet.

But you'd know that, because you'd read a thread before commenting.

I dropped the car at the tuners yesterday and think Mark means the Dyno print from the test run. I think they were just having a look at it and said the tune was pretty good, so we will see what we end up with.

The car will need the other work done before the final tune and I should get a before and after result off the same dyno to post.

Correct Pete, thought you might've had something already. Initial feedback positive at least...

will be getting something later today I think.

The initial feedback was that the tune was OK, there were a few things to look at but it was just a run for him to see what is going on.

It's in good hands up at jez's shop :)

It will be interesting to see how it turns out considering he said the tune was OK and pretty aggressive, so we will soon find out.

XKLABA drove it and posted a few thoughts on an earlier page

Talking about XKLABA, he was 1st in his class at the Tamworth round of the NSW Hillclimb Championship and only 0.33 off the class record, go Mick

I think he was 8th or 9th overall

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
