subtle salary suggestion there Simon

I assume they treated you well and leaving on good terms to not mention the variance

Otherwise why would you forgo the money with just a hey your calcs are wrong m8

Yeah we parted on reasonably amicable terms...

Somehow they weren't able to hire a replacement in my 4 week notice period, so who knows if they're miffed that there was no knowledge transfer period... A few things that were said made me get the feeling he thought that I was betraying them by leaving (being a long term employee leaving a 'family' company). But as Kermit says... "That's none of my business..."

Edit: Good thing I generalised the final figure and actual timespan of incorrect accruals, hey?

M8 if someone buys those rims at that price by the end of the year i'll eat my own shit

I don't know what rims you're talking about or how much exactly they are, but I rekin one of those go fund me pages would raise the money in the next 2 months on the proviso that you'd be made to eat your own shit

13.5k for nismo rims

shit, judging by all the go fund me's that actually get decent money for a stupid cause I could be screwed here.

I use IP vanish.

no logging, lots of end points and in Melb I can get 50+ mbit a second.

app for android, or can be config on PC and router and such

Great for avoiding Country blocking of news sites and foxtel go OS.

they allow torrent and such if needed....as well.

https://www.ipvanish.com/pricing.php

I pretty much only want it for downloading torrents... Keep seeing the ads on kickass/pirate bay etc... Been downloading torrents as normal without giving a f**k, but if it's only a couple $ a month to avoid any potential bullshit later then why not..

Express VPN seems to be the highest rated? $8.32/mnth for 12 months...

But do I then need to use something else to download torrents or do I just download through utorrent as normal?

So your Laid Up cover was $1000?

Nah it was $900 or so but now 800 I think

Cant remember the figures but it made a decent difference

if configured correctly there no impact to you you don't even know it there, just no way for others to read your traffic.

just make sure they support torrent and that they have 0 logs and your fine.

I'll personally pay for $5k of it and keep the rims, plus another $1500 just because I wanna see you eat your own shit

So the gofundme only has to raise $7k. Assuming we can film the event - to show the kickstarters - maybe auction the video off to them at $10 a frame - I think it's achievable

Basically, by the end of this you're either gonna eat your own words or your own shit

apparently, I've only played with the android one as I only use it on my tablet

but there is a windows one as well.

assuming it the same as the android one it just a matter of install and enter user name and password

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
