The longer we wait the bigger it gets. So if it's after Christmas or new year to be honest all the better. Big D did say that it's hard to get news out over this period as so many people are away for the festive period. One thing for use the picture keeps getting bigger. Hold onto your ticket as the train is just loading up. Choo chooooooooo!

Yeah I only really want it for sport but they did a deal when I signed up, just never rang up to cancel it when it reverted back to normal price.. Was already planning to call up and cancel platinum before I got the letter..

They'll just offer a discount when I call to cancel but if they don't they can suck me off, I'll tell em how shit their service is and go back to sport and maybe documentaries as well

That's the way, you can always get a free AFL live subscription at the start of the year usually too or even just pay $89 for the year.

I'm tempted to get UFC fight pass $9 AUD a month for weekly fights (5+ hours) and on-demand access to all previous fights.

Still has a bit of a delay so not true live (annoying for betting) and occasionally has connection issues compared to pay per view or foxtel. But not terribly priced.

Foxtel only show 2 or so fights a week, probably charge extra for all those random sports channels too

If this thing was under $2000 I would give it full-on VIP treatment. an ugly W124 with rear tables and black leather seats.

I ditched the second room, movies and HD.

Like seriously what the f**k is the point of watching a docco about Hitler full of footage from the 40's in HD....

The fact that they charge more for 'HD' proves again that they're cocksuckers.

When vic pol get their hands on a supercharged 400kw Falcon didn't last long.. well there goes 1 of the 750 last XR8s

These cocksuckers were probably doing 150 in an 80 zone smirking like the piggies they are, look at that car..

How does foxtel justify not providing surround sound in 2016, especially with what they charge ...?

I'll keep the platinum package if they drop the price enough.. But I all honesty most of it is complete shit... Sopranos, Seinfeld sons of anarchy etc on constant reruns, the same movies over and over again, most of them not even good movies...

Sport they've got me because of MotoGP, f1 (although after never missing a minute of coverage in the last 10+ years, my interest is fading with the current state of the sport) and to a lesser extent AFL, but everything else I watch on there is more often than not from boredom and staying on something I've flicked through randomly, and already seen.. Sopranos is a perfect example.. Seen the entire series 10+ times and have the set on DVD, but still watch it on foxtel if I'm bored..

Nature docos I don't mind, but almost everything else they show is either old, shit, or I can download it before they show it anyway, without ads.

don't hate me as I get charged out at a higher rate than you.....

your charge out rate includes accommodation and travel expenses.

his charge out rate has to cover meal allowances, RDO's and site allowance.

    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
