OK, for starters your car was made in October 1993. Its came out of the factory as a dark blue. I haven't decoded all the R33 options yet (should do it one of these days), but what's interesting is that yours is a GTS25TML, which is a rare R33 GTSt.

According to paulr33 (off his old website which is now defunct):

There was a limited run of R33 GTS25TML specification, which is a Type M with Active LSD. The diff is a skyline GTR vspec diff, electronically controller LSD instead of a normal R33 diff. It features the same finned cover and A-LSD function as the Skyline GTR.

Cool thanks mate, was wondering why my car seemed different to other 33's i've been in, even just the interior is slightly different.

This makes me a happy camper, now I can say I dont just own an R33 GTST-T, but a gtstml!

Yay.

So apart from the Active lsd, the slip light on the dash, ABS, driving lights, and dual air-bags, I guess my car is the same as a GTSTM?

Thanks again mate.

BTW: Do you have any idea as to how many Gtstml's were produced? Cheers.

I'll assume that you meant to have a question mark at the end of your sentence.

The next thing to say is.....do you know how to use the internet?  Because you could search for for sale ads of R33s to find out what people are asking for them.

The more direct answer is, they are not worth much.  Although that depends on what you mean by "much".  For some people, $8k is a lot of money.

Mate, if you're just after a pricing estimate you can go to Redbook or look up similar cars on Carsales etc. To be frank, your car is not uncommon and accordingly to the RACV (my brother has one) is probably valued at around $7,000 - $15,000 based on mileage and the condition of the car etc.

Thank you I'll send more pic

No need to send pics... we all know what a 33 looks like..

Step 1 - Go onto carsales

Step 2 - Search for R33 gtst

Step 3 - Look at prices???

Still don't know what you are trying to achieve though. Did you you buy the car just to resell it?

I like the fact this post was completely ignored.

bold power move from the  new guy

Now, let’s us ponder for one minute.

Are R33 GTST’s a rare bread? Not so much. But how about a R33 with a RB26 or a RB30 or hell a V12 engine or the like that looks like crap but is a 8 second sleeper?

Is the car now rare? Holy f**k-a-ronnie, rare as tits on a bull! ?

yep... like my gtst has fully sick customised front bar, the kangaroo that did the work is long dead, so it's irreplaceable

Exactly my point! It is subjective. ?

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
