  1. Noice mate. B48 is a good engine. B58 will be even better! Shame BMW Aus don't offer M340i wagon like NZ does! BUT, what about the new Z aye aye
  2. Don't the genuine S/R tune bonnets have water channels?
  3. What sort of diagnostics have you performed?
  4. I've been a fan of heavy tactile (Like the old IBM buckling spring ones), but they can get tiring, so MX Brown is a good compromise. But would like to try out some other switches. MX Red is pretty good for gaming though. Anyone tried out these random "milky" or "panda" switches? I figured they're variants of Red or Brown.
  5. Very nice. Just finished the GMMK. The Boba U4 doesn't have much pre-actuation travel, basically none haha. Different feel to the MX Brown, but that's the beauty of modified switches.
  6. Where the samosa Samsonas mangggggggg. Should be good to rip some skids after lockdown
  7. Buy two fat muffler and get an exhaust shop to make a custom one up for you. You can buy a turbo cat back but it will sound as good as a fart cannon, so better off going to a parts store and buying a fart cannon and installing that instead (cheaper).
  8. sounds interesting, pictures? more details?
  9. I was keen on trying to lube the MX Brown switches, but then I'd have to de-solder my keyboard. Which is how I ended up down the hot-swap rabbit hole haha. At least I'll have another keyboard to use while I de-construct my current one.
  10. I'm sure there are a few in here who are fans of the clack. I personally have run Cherry MX Brown equipped keyboards from various brands. Apart from Steelseries M800 (which I spilt juice on a couple of times before it died). Currently rocking a CM MK730 (TKL), planning on lubing the scratch MX Brown switches. Since lockdown is in place, gee'd myself up for a GMMK full size base with some 'Boba U4' silent tactile switches "for the missus". Waiting for the base and key caps to arrive.
  11. $80k starting price at the very least I reckon. Good to see manual with the near-300kW engine.
  12. ECU is in passenger side footwell. Take the dizzy apart, make sure the CAS disc inside is clean. I had misfire issues because the CAS was rusty and spilling dirt on the disc (sensor wasn't reading properly hence misfire). Also does it idle fine? Try unplugging AFM, it should idle and rev to 2,000 rpm fine. Loads of info on R31 Skyline club wiki
  13. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart. But probably fine for everyday driving. Looks like it's used by a few Nissans. Not sure what AWD will do when you're aquaplaning, but I'd never skimp on tyres (or brakes for that matter). I've learnt the hard way.
  14. Merged duplicate threads. No need to spam threads asking the same/similar questions
  15. What issue are you having? Seems pretty straight-forward, just need to move the wipers to 'service' position, then pull off the wiper (J hooks are easy to deal with). Throw some Bosch AeroTwin or whatever they're called these days, and don't worry about it for years.
  16. Sounds like it's in limp mode. Check engine light/warning lights on? Get the ECU scanned for codes.
  17. You should get the computer scanned for the error codes
  18. Welcome.
  19. I bought the same HFM BM57 copy master cylinder and my rear brakes didn't work (reverted back to standard BM50). So yeah, see if you can put the standard master cylinder back on and test.
  20. 775kW sounds like a substation. 1000 hp sounds like a happy USA dyno
  21. Looks like the same stuff that some dude in Thailand spams on Facebook groups.
