  1. narrow band sensor doesn't give a voltage to dictate the o2 reading just goes up and down on closed loop and ecu adjusts a little to hit stoichiometric
  2. what? lol I run 875cc Siemens Deka IV and it is only hitting like 89% duty cycle at 24psi I prefer to tune with loads of boost but very lazy timing rather than loads of timing but not so much boost. Because you're on E85, EGTS are shit low
  3. boost doesn't make motors go bang, shit tuning and poor fuel does. I run 24psi all day
  4. put in new headstuds, and pump as much boost as you possibly can with that turbo on e85. Motor loves it, especially on E85.
  5. look in the dyno thread was on a stagea, made the power but more lags than a real GTX or Hypergear equivalent
  6. I'm in Canley Vale, solid 2 hr drive away. don't need the bov return or breather I've got a 3" intake going to my 4" turbo, doesn't boogie well
  7. stock position and is in 4" might be cheaper than going to a shop to fab up a 4" pipe
  8. C63 AMG /thread lol no, eat good tyres, get good suspension and get a good diff
  9. sell me your intake pipe lol..
  10. nawwss man.. I like my stock 300000km+ Edward Lee's special edition with 149000 km the dash motor Well I want to push the limits of this motor and see what happens, if it pops.. oh wells RB30 it is lol
  11. so yeah, I'm after some more power... however what will be more responsive? SS2 (current one, externally gated by scotty_nm35 last year) OR ATR45SAT ? I do plan to get HAVOC fab to make me one of those stock manifolds with each pulse merged into a single gate.
  12. just add more boost, you'll be fine.
  13. any MAP needs an IAT (at a minimum), air density changes with temperature/altitude etc.. better if you have both IAT and also barometer. this is why I still prefer AFM ECUs, just minus the idiosyncrasies such as BOV/reversion, etc... but there are ways to get around it like increasing the fuel cut/recovery point.
  14. anyhow, just go to Project Mu HC+ or HC800 as it's called now.. you'll never look back
  15. If only I had a Z33 gearbox in my car, that would solve all issues LOL
  16. 100% I've see a few lazy tuners out there that tune cars without IAT on MAP sensor ECUs.. just 100% lazy and irresponsible.. imagine that person takes their car out late at night for a brap around the mountains... will be lean/knock city!
  17. That is extremely interesting, I myself went from A1RM to Intima SR and found them great.. 2x of my mates with EVOs also went from A1RM to Intima SR and found them better. Another track wh0re I go with on his 180SX went fro A1RM to Intima SR and found them great too albeit he runs R33 Brembos on his 180SX. You may have had a bad batch or so.
  18. my SS2 is lags, it's nothing nothing nothing then ALL IN like a rocket ship LOL these days I drop it back into 2nd on that last turn to keep the revs above 4k
  19. just plug it up all and drive there, if there's no ethanol then it won't do anything and also it's disabled by default because there's no input assignment
  20. I can send you my current flex map if you like, just don't use it on your car as it might / will not work lol. other than that, it's pretty straight forward.. use the compensation table to dial in more timing and fuel based on E85 percentage, not much is required on the fuel table as it assumes a blanket 30% more fuel. I did have to add a little at peak torque but for the rest of the ta le fuel was 0. However I did have to add 20% more on cold start and 8 for warm start.
  21. ooo got dyno charts of what these strange turbos produce?
  22. I'm always interested on why you use those turbos and a stock RB25DET manifold on a RB26 lol
  23. you don't value your life much do you? the front tyres do all the steering and braking I would rather good tyres up front and rat shit at the back.
  24. Go Intima SS, AFM A1RM or the likes are garbage. I know in the past there were many fan boys who supported QFM, I was one of them.. but these days there are other better pads to be had.
  25. make sure you run an IAT, do not be a lazy karnt and not run one.. because you'll lean out when the IAT/ambient air temp is low..
