  1. they need to be shot, 2 degrees of castor? come on
  2. which RPM are you picking up this knock at?
  3. Well, just put a 1JZ into your car Jokes aside, modding a RB20 to make big power is a silly thing
  4. By the way, there's a nasty timing spike in your map. I suggest you your firmware to stop that from happening.
  5. I just did Your VCT is enabled all the way to redline, perhaps try only setting at 100% between 1500rpm & 5000rpm (as a test). Of course doing 2x runs and finding the intersection point is more ideal - but I'll leave that up your tuner to decide on.
  6. I wasn't a fan of them at all, for the price + a little more some Nitto INVO tyres are a much better option or even Kumho KU31 (not as good as the Nitto).
  7. is your car oversteering with some power down OR as you turn in hard and coasting? The factory VLSD is rubbish and often single spins so as you enter a corner (on a track that is) and apply some moderate power down the rear end ends up kicking out thus delivering some sideways action. I found the best mod I did was install a proper mechanical LSD, there's some understeer on power now however so much more controllable compared to before.
  8. organic would be nicer to drive, however I've opted for the carbotic plate and it loves a good beating
  9. there's a decel timing advance table in Nistune, don't worry about it too much.. you could lower those numbers to induce a pop and/or flame on decel too
  10. guess we're never going to cruise on public roads then there's powercruise LOL... I'm keen!
  11. That 350Z conversion is interesting, hopefully there will be a full off the shelf kit one day - seems there's still some mucking around to get it to fit. Would love a 6 speed in my R33!
  12. stock fan with a decent radiator works tits, those GK Tech fans are hideous - pointless mod, I removed two of them off 2x S15s that were overheating on the track.
  13. You want it to come on quicker and harder? Get VCT going like others have mentioned. It's day/night difference in terms of low down torque and response. If your tuner doesn't think so, then it's time to find a new one.
  14. yep, less noisy than the Kumho KU31 I really liked them, but had to upgrade the INVO to NT01 for track purposes.. found the INVO would die after 2/3 laps
  15. Get some Kumho KU31 or KU39 as it's just a street car.. both tyres mentioned are heaps better that those Falken tyres. OR Step it up a notch, get some Nitto INVO, fantastic daily tyre that doesn't mind a few laps on the track.
  16. shimmed VLSDs are gay. get a proper LSD OR lock it with a welder if it's for dori
  17. just get coils and maybe some cheapie SAFC unit lean the motor out.. a full standalone isn't worth it at all
  18. Hey Guys, I have a black 1/4 panel, front RHS guard for $50 No dents, just has been painted in black from a $2 can from GOLO or so.. my mates bought it for me because they thought I needed a guard, but I already have a spare one LOL (just been to lazy to spray/fit). $50 and it's yours.. no beer this time, moving houses need less shit with me. has indicator too Location: Canley Vale, NSW Price: $50
