  1. And this all goes out the window with an aftermarket ECU as you calibrate 0% at whatever voltage and 100% at whatever voltage.
  2. Not very clear on their websites or social but the original one for postponed. It's now on the 19th of Nov. https://www.facebook.com/1600176236978602/posts/pfbid027bvKDkMNNSihZSquEZfTE5p7ZWHiWyx1vT11CmoMZYnBiUbQE4Fv7BUxZMUEAiehl/?app=fbl
  3. I'm going to All Jap Day, a mix of power cruise and Roll Racing. Will leave a little note on the car saying it's for sale 😎
  4. Or another option is I get a burner phone/number. Like a true Skyline owner back in the late 90s and early 00s. Just need a dragon tattoo on my back, and wear microfibre pants.
  5. @Murray_Calavera just don't want to list it on Carsales at present, the phone will ring hot with idiots asking to swap their VY SS or VY Ute or their mum's Falcon, etc.
  6. Oh trust me I would if offered the right money.. I'll even give them all the new door seals, plastic trims and shit that are sitting in boxes.
  7. Just testing the water here, would anyone following this thread be keen on buying my shit box? If so, slide into my DM.
  8. If all the above fails, block off this stupid thing: They seem to like to jam up and seize randomly. Typical Nissan leak valve BS, honestly imagine they just used a stepper motor for idle control (like their JZ cousins with some brains).
  9. If you're going into that much effort, might as well convert it to DBW. No more stuffing about with AAC, IACV slow reacting leak valves.
  10. It's probably your idle control strategy on your Link trying to control the idle speed with timing. Have you recalibrated your TPS at 0% and 100%? Don't try use the OEM method to do this, as it won't work. There are two factory leak valves. Try block off the one that's under the plenum and disconnect it. It isn't really needed with a modern ECU controlling idle.
  11. Hot, all the factory leak valves can go into the bin.
  12. New platform doesn't surprise Christmas tree you like the older shit boxes.
  13. Or just buy a M2, works out cheaper in the end.
  14. R35 or similar card MAFs are not period correct bruvvvaaaaaaaa..
  15. Everyone knows a RB when they see a massive catch can, breathers, left right and centre, monitoring for oil pressure, oil temp, etc. and more monitoring on everything. 700kW Supra, cam covers -> intake pipe, meh.
  16. But it looks RB tough...! Supra guys just run catch cans the size of catch cans, looks weak. Even my GTS-t shit box has a 5.5L catch can oil tank LOL
  17. I sure did, and it transformed the AC. So much colder now, also there's less heat generated on the condenser. The old one must have been clogged as it was warped/bent. They've doubled in price on Amayama
  18. I run these in my shit box, seen plenty of track days, skidpans, 8k RPM launches, etc. with the first 2x motors. https://www.vibra-technics.com/nissan/skyline_r32_r33_r34_gt_gtr_gts_t/623/NIS240M_kit/engine_mount_r33_gts_t_rb25det_r34_gtt And you guys know, I thrash my car when I can at the track. Still using the same mounts, some slight vibration but nothing like a car with solid urethane ones. I get a bit of a rock with the idle braps too, extra hard c()nt at the lights. Might be worth putting in better engine mounts(?), sounds like the stock OEM Nismo branded ones might tear with all the powahs.
  19. Plan B, buy a M2 Comp. Will end up costing less, faster and be more reliable than a built Nissan on the track.
  20. Progress is progress, means you might even make it to All Jap Day in November haha
  21. Better off just chopping off the stock flange then getting a DBW flange welded on. This would allow easier spark plug, coil management etc.
  22. Should be a weapon mate! The upped comp just makes the SR much more urgent, especially with VCT. The power comes on so hard and fast, I suspect very fun to drive and also not very good at trying to maintain traction lol. I had to tighten the straps on the dyno as it lit up the RE003 coming on boost.
