Theoretically a turbo "should" nearly spool the same on either E85 or 98RON, in some regard broscience and brolyticals would say the EGTs are hotter on 98RON thus spool theoretically "should" be better on 98RON.
-
Patiently waits for that turbo to blow up so you can modernise it haha... But being a genuine Garrett, I'll be waiting for a while.
-
Yep.... and when they yield poor results, Garrett turbos then cop a bad reputation. FWIW, I have Kelford 244-B (264/272 9.6mm) and a real Garrett GTX3576R Gen 2 with a 1.01 T3 Garrett divided turbine housing. 0.8bar by 4000rpm, makes 437kW at about 7200rpm, rev limiter at 8600rpm. Boost target was 1.8bar but it bled down to about 1.5bar by the redline (turbo is out of puff). In some shape or form if you have a real Garrett GTX3076 (hopefully Gen 2?) then our compressor maps are identical.

I recall seeing it in your photos, hence where I got the inspiration from 😎

Let's see, if Wakefield Park opens up again and I start to race as often as I did then the Accusump will definitely been something I look into and install. I think there's enough space to nest it behind the bumper support At present, I have pretty aggressive engine protection setup with the new motor (learnt my lesson last time LOL).
-
Or Tao from Hypergear can make one fit for you too. He has access to some pretty nice rear turbine housings these days.
-
I think I should be ok now, but that's not our of the question either depending on how serious I get on the track.

OEM fans are good, electric or not electric. eBay or Forum special fans are good at keeping flies and mozzies away at BBQs only.
-
Haha actually the motor seized because the sump was sucked dry around a corner and the oil couldn't return to the sump fast enough.
-
Jesus, that's way too high! I run a 25 row Setrab core in the driver side guard and I can manage to keep oil sub 130°C doing continuous hot laps (well did, till the engine seized lol).
-
I personally would go G35 turbine side as well Another option is to go to a Precision 6266 Gen 2, just run an oil filter, oil pressure relief valve and you should be pretty good.

I already offloaded it with a pile of stock intake manifold junk on Facebook. If only you asked earlier would have given it to you 🙂
-
No objections, better boost control than say your typical 6Tits manifold with the gate outlet perpendicular to the collector followed by another 90 degree bend. The welds look great too!

lol... funny.. I already do most of the house work, cook, laundry/fold clothes etc.. New age male

When I used to do quite a bit of wiring (when I was younger, didn't have back pain and had plenty of spare time) I would actually take photos and send it to my girlfriend at the time (wife now) and ask her what the colours were LOLOLOL.
-
Just went to take a photo, I'm colour blind too so can't really tell what the 4th wire is, it's blue and something? LOL.. I'm using 1st wire as sensor GND and the 3rd wire (which is covered in heat shrink) as Trigger. And yes, I should re-terminate that plug, I have a spare one to go on too - just forgotten about it.

So next on the list, OEM fan shroud and OEM fan setup? 😎
-
no offense, but that Aeroflow 14" fan won't be moving much air either. There's a reason why plenty of circuit racers with shit box Skylines (mine included, massive shit box) predominantly use the OEM shroud and OEM fan.
