  1. Gravity - you don't need to use the stock set up just put a connection in the bottom of the fuel tank.
  2. ^^^Mounting under the car means you don't need a lift pump. 380kw is plenty for the street. It will go very fast and so long as it revs out smoothly you will be very happy. ( I wish shops would produce dyno charts with revs instead of mph!) I am intrigued by the way that the boost curve trends down. I thought it would hold at least 25 psi for quite a bit longer. Maybe that';s just how the turbo is or maybe its the wastegate or just the tuner. Like the rest of your non- paying audience I am glued to this thread!
  3. If you can't get one from the UK (and I would surprised if that were the case) you could get one from Palmside in Christchurch NZ
  4. Let me guess - Pete is on the road and half-way home....
  5. Latest Link with built in digital wideband etc etc http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?ca=13724212-ccee-4b4a-9b30-b3988d06b7a7&c=0ff310d0-1d6f-11e3-b800-d4ae5275b546&ch=107f9960-1d6f-11e3-b805-d4ae5275b546

  6. Good point. I had a split dump on my 25DET and people talked about the dangers of the W/G flap catching (it didn't on mine) but no-one mentioned the much smaller dump pipe - obvious in retrospect ...but not at the time!
  7. Since you have gone to the trouble of lubing your studs at both ends you can be sure they have bottomed out in the block so an extra set of washers is so simple and cheap - definitely worth a try. But as you may have blown your H/G you will have to remove the head once more to check.
  8. I suspect it may be a bit of a major - definitely if you lose your coolant. May be a job for an air-cond shop unless someone knows better.
  9. Definitely don't get another 044 - mine has always been really noisy and I wouldn't get another. I can't tell you if an intank Walbro 460 would be enough on E55 but I suspect not. Since you already have the undercar surge tank I would plan on getting a more modern in-line pump (or two).
  10. There was a thread in this section a while back but if you Google "Quaife v Nismo GTR front diff" I think you will find the Quaife is the winner.
  11. Sure you have enough coil power?
  12. What is a 2in receiver? Are you referring to the towball which is normally 1 7/8 or 50mm and they are readily interchangeable. What kind of bikes require a heavy duty towbar? Are they V8 engined drag bikes? Maybe you need a van.
  13. What do you call heavy duty? I have towed a tandem trailer with another Stagea on it - quite a few people (probably in this thread if you look back) tow their race cars behind a C34.
  14. If this is what's happening then its the machinist's fault. He hasn't removed enough material from the crank to allow the collar to return to its proper dimensions when cool. If he had double checked when the collar was on and found it didn't fit it would have been simple at this point to machine it down to suit.
  15. Get Rips to ship you a 3.2 engine - he may be able to find you a Neo head as well. http://www.ripsracing.com/
  16. You are in the n/a section - the turbo (forced induction ) section is above. You are evidently in the UK so few here will know anything about UK machine shops Search first and then ask when/if you get stuck...
  17. IFF the diameter of the collar is the only issue then there is no need to remove it - it can just be turned down to size and if everything is put back together in the same place then there should be little if any need for balancing. As a matter of interest do you have the diameter of the June collar? I haven't come across this problem as yet but would anyway expect the machinist to try the pump over the collar before fitting.
  18. ^^^what he said. Ask around for a good exhaust shop (posting up your location will help in this regard) as some are absolute cowboys and will charge you heaps for a rubbish system.
  19. Auto Series 1 Stageas have a unique ecu which cannot be Nistuned or easily replaced. Something has to be piggy backed whether it is an SAFC, E-Manage or something more expensive. The only satisfactory fix is to go manual but for the OP a modest increase is possible with a Greddy E-Manage.
  20. 4.3KW It varies. You really need something better than a SAFC. An E-Manage would let you vary timing as well as AFRs and with a decent tune could net you a quite noticeable increase. A manual boost T on its own set to 10 psi would probably give you a noticeable increase.
  21. 2.75in is not small
  22. Forget the rear oil drain. I used 2 x 1.0mm restrictors. Have a read of the last ten or so pages of the oil control thread re sump breathers etc.
  23. Ok if Hypergear doesn't want your turbo, swap it with someone with an R33 who does want it. Just because you have bought something is not a good reason to fit it. People can get used to Lag but its still boring as to drive on the street
  24. What's the lift on the cams? Did you have to machine the head?
